Tim49461ParticipantIf you’re watching the Summer League game right now Ebanks/Character/Strawberry/Jaaber all playing very very good.
Ebanks is doing a great job shooting the ball. Scoring on fast breaks, knocking down the open 3. Defensively he is what you came to expect. I think the Lakers are saying Trevor Ariza who. What a amazing pick up for them.
Character Playing solid right now as well, This guy is scoring with both hands making some guys look like fools. Scouts were right if this kid has his head on straight it will be in a solid player in the NBA. He is rebounding extremely well. I can’t stress enough how well he looks in the post. Could easily see him coming in off the bench playing a Big Baby davis role for them. Under the guidance of Pau and Kareem this guy has some upside to him now.
Strawberry, I have loved this kid since his days in Phx. Plays Defense with a passion and loves it. Handles it well enough to play point for the lakers and take the defense pressure off kobe for a solid 5 10 mins a game. I hope this kid finds a home. Miami?! You need this kid trust me.
Jaaber, as some of you know this kid is the reason why Jennings didnt get any playing time in Europe. And he is showing why. he can shoot it well enough but he knows the lakers want someone who will play point not score. I think his 8 assist so far is proving he might get signed somewhere.
Chime in if you want or add your opinion.
I think these four guys all need to get signed and dump Powell and Morrison.

Tim49461ParticipantHe is not scoring….at all 0 points 2 rebounds. Just by the looks of him, it looks like he will be playing over seas once again.

stanford hoopsgreen looks bad butler. only thing good about him is he can jump:(…but yeah ebanks and caracter are looking very very good. not suprised about caracter because he used to go toe to toe with oden and won some battles, just never had his head on right and didnt work hard to get better or stay in shape
loving dj’s game.. watched him since i first saw him on espn against lebron in hs, then at maryland
i am suprised about ebanks though, his offense is better then i thought. its only one summer leauge game (and still not over) but ebanks looks like he can take some if not all of waltons minutes and caracter can beat out josh powell because he has a better post game plays with more power and has a nice jumper

Tim49461ParticipantI dont think so, im watching it on atdhe.net
But Yea Ebanks is surprising me to but he looks comfortable shooting so he is not surprised by what he is doing that is a good sign.
Im so glad so one else has been noticing DJ he can seriously help a team. And if it wasnt for That damn Mike D. in Phx he would have been a solid backup for nash.
