omphalosParticipantSo given what has happened with arguably the best combination of players from the 2003 draft coming together to form a ridiculous Big 3, I thought it’d be interesting to compare these guys with the best combination of 3 players from any single draft and argue who would win.
My best all-time draft Big 3 would have to be Jordan, Olajuwon and Barkley from the 1984 draft. I can see these guys running rings around the ’03 Big 3.
Who have you guys got?

delfamParticipantiverson, kobe, and nash in 1996 is pretty good, but the 84 draft was probably the best.

SteroidParticipantIf you’re judging by rings, then maybe, but if you’re judging by talent, then I’d say no..
Note: I’d say John Stockton is a VERY honorable mention in that 1984 draft.

smithers3551ParticipantShaq, Mourning and Robert Horry in 1992 was anaother good one, however 1984 was the best

theEDGEParticipant1987: David Robinson,Scottie Pippen and Reggie Miller.
1985:Patrick Ewing, Karl Malone,Chris Mullin/Joe Dumars. In 1984 there was also another HOF available in John Stockton.
As for 1996 I would pick Ray Allen over Iverson.0 - Posted on: Fri, 07/09/2010 - 5:34am #350165

omphalosParticipantIf you were actually to play these guys on a team together ala Miami I’d go Nash, Kobe and Camby for the 96 draft because it gives a more well rounded team. Robinson, Pippen and Miller is a good one theEDGE, seems to have all the bases covered. Nice to see a few more obscure drafts – which I say only in comparison to the 96/84 drafts. Agreed about Stockton also.
