if you saw that letter he sent out to cleveland fans you’d think the exact same thing i do.
IF anyone doesnt have class its him not lebron. If you actually watched the thing LeBron was very classy about the whole thing and in the end, the proceeds are going to the Boys and girls club in gilberts city along with akron, NYC and Chicago. The event was not to feed LeBron’s ego as i had expected.
These are all places that need that money. and im impressed by the way it went down.
Just for one second put yourself in LeBron’s shoes. The only reason that this was a tough decision was because he loves cleveland. If he didnt care, they would have been out of the race early on, because they definately dont give him the best shot to win, and they’ve been given 7 years to try and get there.
LeBron made the righ choice leaving cleveland, whether Chicago or Miami was a better fit remains to be seen.
Im kinda ranting here but im pissed off. the way everyone is criticizing LeBron is ridiculous. Who F-ing cares that he didnt pick cleveland. he’s given them more than enough opportunity to build a team good enough to win it all.
In the end LeBron made the choice that anyone motivated by winning would. he took less money to increase his chance to win. The kid is a good person, and as much as you guys hate on him, he made a decision and its sad and pathetic that everyone is gonna hate on him now, for doing what he decided was best (btw thats what free agents are supposed to do).
Burning the Jerseys in Cleveland is a blatant sign of disrespect and its just sad to watch this whole thing go down.

HandDownManDown13ParticipantAlso Dan Gilbert is a 48 year old entrepeneur and buisness man who is taking pot shots at a 25 year old professional athlete, who basically took the cavs on his back and turned them into yearly contender.
Watching this circus has really pissed me off today, and its tragic that Gilbert showed so little character in putting out this statement.

HandDownManDown13ParticipantSometimes thigns are better left unsaid, Gilbert isnt Mark Cuban, and doesnt need to be making comments like this. He should have just held it in and did his job. I actually have a hard time seeing Mark Cuban coming out with something like this

sheltwon3ParticipantCameron, I agree with you and I lost points because whiny fans of Cleveland or fans who hate Lebron because get this he did not sign with their team are mad a me.
I would have been upset if he stayed because they have very little chance to win there and Lebron was helping their economy so they were riding Lebron and not the other way around.
Lebron made a move that was good for him because trying to carry an ungrateful city and one lacking good direction but some of their basketball moves was not cutting it.

Basketball wise he had to leave the Cavs, even the Clippers or Nets have more talent to surroung Lebron.
