Toronto16ParticipantIf he announces he is staying in Cleveland, people are going to ask why he wasted an hour out of their life just for him to stay, and if he leaves people are going to trash him for being so malicious that he went on live T.V. to completely spit in the face of every Cavs fan.
Either way I will be the one to make that thread criticising him.
btw fire bryan colangelo

JoeWolf1I just want it to be over. A one hour Lebron free agent special…comon. He might as well make it a variety hour and dress up in stupid bell bottomed jumpsuits and make it all Osmond. Durant twittered his extention, I’m tired of the Lebron free agent show and can’t wait for tonight, just because it will be over.

LawDeeZeeParticipantin terms of PR lebron and his people handled this terribly, he put himself in the position he’s in and he’s now backed himself into a corner, whatever happens … he comes away looking like a diva … still think it looks worse if he quits on the cavs because in all honesty, they did make just about every move they were able to in order to keep him happy

mrknowitall313ParticipantYall care way to much about a man yall dont know. and wat moves did they make? mo williams? antwan jamison? 37 yr old shaq? lol those moves suck. its the media fault that it went this far. if they wasnt talking about it every other min ppl wouldnt care i cant blame james for taking advantage of it. yea the hour long special is too much but if there wasnt a audition to watch it espn wouldnt never picked it up.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantWhere will Lebron go Talk dominated the Finals & The Draft..
It has dominated the Summer so much that nobody is talking about the Oil Spill anymore…
Lebron didnt create this free agency hype it started 2 years ago…But he has stated he wants to become a global icon..So way not milk it for all it worth By announcing his intentions on national tv?0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/08/2010 - 10:09am #349165
madcabParticipantMedia Coverage has ruined most of what is great in this country. But its really the people that “tune in” and watch that crap that makes them continue covering random “reality” situations.
Survivor was a great show (when it first came on 48 years ago………sarcasm) but now why does anyone really want to know why the Kardashiens (spelling) are marrying Lamar Odom.
just saying the media and “reality TV” has ruined america.

WrecklessParticipantThey make him seem like he is that fucking important, like he’s God or something. But, I think Lebron is going to sign a lifetime contract with his ego anyways.
Im a Lebron fan but damn. Shit is crazy.

OllstarParticipantBeing Mr. James isn’t easy. The man has alot of balls for not shying away from the spot light. It takes alot of courage to seriously try and become a global icon.

WrecklessParticipantIt came on yesterday at 11:00. Love that movie.

WizardofOzParticipantThe real reason why it’s a no win situation either way is because if he decides to stay in Cleveland, people are going to say that he winning a championship is not his top priority and that he cares more about the money, but if goes to Miami, say he, Bosh, and Wade were to win a championship, people are going to start saying that he needed two other superstars to win a championship. So either way it’s a no win situation.

BlackMamba24ParticipantWell Lebron brought all this on himself. All he had to do was announce and not go through all of this stupid crap. I mean, seriously a f******ESPN special to announce. He is all about him and nobody else. Thats why Kobe will keep beating his sorry a**

nl2niceParticipanti fully agree with you olstar …but if you think about it. athletes are always hated on. ali was hated on, people hate kobe..alot of people still do…still the most popular player in the nba other than lebron..why? cuz he is a winner. as much as people loved and praised jordan just as many people despised him. i don’t think lebron truly gives a damn what people think about his decisions as long as they benefit him. that’s i won’t be surprised if he goes to miami. i truly think he cares more about winning than endorsements and how much money he can make. he lebron fucking james. that nigga is an endorsement

JHong621ParticipantI’m just glad it doesn’t interfere with Futurama. Although, Futurama has kinda fallen off, so I might laugh more during James’ show…
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/08/2010 - 12:29pm #349332

NYCrealdealParticipantcan end up being the most hated player in the nba in about 3 hours
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/08/2010 - 12:57pm #349357

OldSkoolBasketballParticipantI’m sure a lot of us lost a lot of respect for Lebron. He is hurting his image. The worst part is he isn’t hurting it through violence or crime.

OrangeJuiceJonesParticipantWhen I grow up, I wanna be just like Kevin Durant. I don’t care if he’s only a year older than me.
