JRdaFilipinoParticipantso apparently there are reports that Lebron is going to play for the Heat next season along with Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade.
WOW
I can’t think of a better BIG 3 combination that has ever played or is currently playing. There have been some great “Big 3’s”, but with Wade, Bosh and now Lebron? no comes close…
we’ll see what Lebron decides in less than 24 hours but if he does indeed choose the Heat, well, DAMN I don’t even know. Insert Beasley and Chalmers and you have yourself the top starting 5 in the NBA

ScareCrowsRevengeParticipantThey have a deeper and more talented team then Cavs and Knicks…Bulls only have Rose,Boozer and Noah….I think Harris,Favors and Lopez could give those 3 a run their money…also add in Williams,Lee and D.James and It’s a no brainer…and they could still get David Lee Too…
Harris, T.Williams, LBJ, D.Lee, Lopez, Favors, C.Lee, D.James and others…are better than …The Bulls
Rose, LBJ???,Deng, Boozer, Noah, Gibson,James Johnson and who else…???Mike Miller for the MLE?
they are better than the Knicks too…
Douglas, Walker, LBJ, Amare, Curry, Gallo, Chandler, Jordan, Rautins, Fields….
add Felton and Haywood and they still suck IMO…Ray has done Jack and Haywood was playing for his next deal…That will be 2 bad signings that everyone in NY seems to want them to make…

Cusemen727ParticipantI really dont get how you can compare a 12 win team in the nets to a playoff team in the bulls, it really makes no sense, I mean you’re talking about Derrick Favors, and while I do believe hes going to be a good player, we havent even seen him play in an NBA game yet. Lopez may have Noah, but not by tthat much, and Devin Harris is good and all, but he isnt D.Rose , I mean you really think that the Nets have the potential to surpass the Bulls in the eastern conference? I just dont see it.
Bulls:
PG: D.Rose(20.8ppg 6apg)
SG: L. Deng(17.3ppg 7.3rpg 2apg)
SF: L. James(29.7ppg 8.6rpg 7.3apg)
PF: C. Boozer(19.5ppg 11.2rpg)
C: J. Noah(10.7ppg 11rpg 1.6bpg)Nets:
PG: D.Harris(16.9ppg 6.6apg)
SG: C. Lee(12.5ppg 1.7apg)
SF: L. James(29.7ppg 8.6rpg 7.3apg)
PF: D. Favors(10ppg 8rpg)Projected
C: B. Lopez(18.8ppg 8.6rpg 1.7bpg)Bulls have the advantage everywhere but center, and Brook isnt even that much better then Noah

BDNETSParticipantProblem is Deng is not a SG.. So he is gone. Noah better than Lopez? Stop smoking crack. Lopez is a True center. And that’s the same 12 win Net team that got 2 of those 12 wins from Da BULLS! Devin started the season off missing training Camp and being injured. he missed 20 games and the Same could be said for many of the other Nets. Injuries HAPPEN. Lopez was the focal point of the offense where as Noah was 3rd option on his best days. We can Still get D Lee who will start right now and replace that favors 10 and 8 you listed with a 20 and 11.
Bulls:
PG: D.Rose(20.8ppg 6apg)
SG: L. Deng(17.3ppg 7.3rpg 2apg)???? Gone You don’t have a SG on your roster
SF: L. James(29.7ppg 8.6rpg 7.3apg)
PF: C. Boozer(19.5ppg 11.2rpg)
C: J. Noah(10.7ppg 11rpg 1.6bpg)Nets:
PG: D.Harris(16.9ppg 6.6apg)
SG: C. Lee(12.5ppg 1.7apg)
SF: L. James(29.7ppg 8.6rpg 7.3apg)
PF: D.Lee(20.2ppg 11.7rpg) Bench With D.James and T.Williams D.Favors(10ppg 8rpg)Projected
C: B. Lopez(18.8ppg 8.6rpg 1.7bpg)0

Cusemen727ParticipantBut in the end I dont think it matters because I think hes going to NY, just my opinion. And like I said in another post, we can argue on here who has a better supporting cast and all, but I truly believe you put LeBron on any team in the NBA and they instantly become a playoff team, i mean really, anybody that thinks that cavs team without lebron is a 30 win team is nuts.

SteroidParticipantI’d be surprised if LeBron puts his ego aside to play and share the ball with Wade. LeBron just rubs off on me like the basketball player who would love to win a championship with a bunch of roleplayers like basically what he has now at Cleveland.. Like someone pointed out earlier, if LeBron wins multiple championships with Bosh and Wade, it will ALWAYS be noted that he had Bosh and Wade.

omphalosParticipantLeBron has always said he cares most about winning, but I think really he cares about winning in a way that will create a legacy. If he were to go to the Heat with Bosh and Wade his legacy would be gone in a flash (no pun intended). Nets give him a chance to be the greatest player in franchise history and forge his own legacy. He won’t go to the Bulls for that reason. Knicks don’t have the personnel to get LeBron and the only position they are strong at is the one he plays. However, they do offer a chance for LeBron to play point ala Magic. Whatever happens, I don’t see the Heat being the right decision for James or his legacy.

BDNETSParticipantKobe/Pau/Artest Beats that new big 3 now.
Pierce/KG/Allen/Rondo
Shaq/Kobe/Ron Harper or Mitch RitchmondBird/Mchale/Parrish
Magic/Kareem/Worthy
Frazier/Monroe/Reed
Jordan/Pippen/RodmanCommon thread is all these big threes have rings. So before we go proclaimimg GREATNESS Let em WIN first.

LawDeeZeeParticipantif he goes to miami, he’ll never have as many rings as d wade! … how’s that effect his legacy?
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/08/2010 - 3:44am #348919
nl2niceParticipanthe could win more than wade. if wade signs for the 6 years he will be 34. wade’s style of play and durability issues could have him retire around that age. in 6 years lebron will be 31 and bosh will be 32. he still would have 3-5 more years to play compared to wade. also the list of other big 3 people have mentioned such as magic/kareem/worthy or bird/mchale/parrish….did the fact they were all on a team winning championships diminish their legacy? all them are on the list of 50 greatest players of all time and bird and magic are easily top 5 greatest of all time

ChewyParticipantA trio of Jordan, Pippen and Rodman actually is a duo of Jordan and Pippen with some dyed hair freak running around. It used to be that in the NBA you could win with two “star” players. (Jordan/ Pippen, Kobe/Shaq, Robinson/Duncan) BUT now you need at least three. Ever since L.A. got Kobe/Odom/Gasol and Celtics got Pierce/Allen/Garnett the requirements for a ring have been officially raised. Wade and Bosh wont cut it on their own…. they need Lebron more than they think….

Snatalini247Participantit would be best for the nba if lebron when to nyk and him and amare battled it out against the heat in the conference championship every year if all three went to the heat basketball would be very boring for me personally because theyd already have things locked up before the started of the season
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/08/2010 - 5:50am #348966
nl2niceParticipantgood point snatalin247. i miss the old knicks and heat rivalry anyways. it would be jus like the 90’s again with the bulls, heat, magic and knicks fighting to the finals
