Miami Lineup[Pending There Isnt A S&T for Bosh]:

    PG: Chalmers
    SG: Wade
    SF: Beasley
    PF: Bosh
    C: ???

Thats pretty sick if you ask me, if/once this becomes official, are the Heat instantly the front-runners in the east?

i called it ages ago ha though, still can’t believe it until its signed, sealed and delivered though bring on july 8th
gee i hope lechoke stays with cleveland and never wins a championship i will never have any respect for him until he can complete that for cleveland and i never really want to see that happen and this just strengthens that he cant beat a full strenth orlando, boston already and now he wont beat miami either and then bring on the lakers easily the best team in the world ha i will give him about 0.5% chance of ever getting it done for cleveland oh yeah and i nearly forgot my team the thunder i would even back agaist the washed up, neverbeens and hasbeens that clevelands roster is full of. Lebron if you want a championship you have a legitamate chance at every team except your own. clippers and chicago are the most talented though i believe he wont go there, nets are set for finals if they could the positon that you play, knicks have a few very talented players which is much more promise than cleveland can deliver miami could possibly deliver the awesome threesome but i highly doubt that as he wanst the spotlight, but anywhere but home lebron anywhere and you will be set for a legit chance which is more than cleveland can offer

mikhail prokhorov called it too that bosh and wade would go to miami. he also said that if lebron joins them it would ”diminish the lebron brand.” does lebron care that much about his brand over winning? we shall see but im excited for the nba because the past decade the west was dominant now it should even out turn the next 10 years

The report this morning was that the sign-and-trade didn’t happen because Toronto didn’t want Beasley, FYI.

how much will miami have left in salary to spend after they sign bosh to the 5 years 100 million.

i think approx 10 million left to spend to sign a free agent.

they can sign a good starting center like haywood or pg in felton or even a few solid backups.

they both were better off in chicago due to rosters if u ask me…..(IMO)
    Rose
    Wade
    Deng
    Bosh
    Noah
I mean common u have chalmers and beasley thats still unproven and not even a center in place i think that decision was already made before free agency was to occur they all knew where everybody was going already and (IMO) thats why i said the NBA is rigged!!! chicago got the third biggest market a room for 2 max free agents plus up and coming all-star derrick rose so seriously the question is why not chicago????????

Predicted this last summer, but many times I did not think it was going to happen. Should make things very, very interesting. Miami definitely gets competitive next year, as Bosh is such a huge piece for helping Dwyane Wade. I wonder what LeBron does to counter, hope that the Cavs land a few pieces, goes to the Bulls and maybe tries to bring a Boozer or ends up actually faking us all out and heading to New York to play with Amare? Certainly the Bulls would be the best team if the landed Boozer, but than again the Knicks are not done spending. Looks like the Nets ultimately are the team that is getting shut-out. Unless LeBron pulls a major 180 and signs with Jigga and Mikey Mines (The huge Russian owner), it does not seem like they are going to get that coveted Free Agent. Guess that is what happens when you win 12 games the year before, it is hard to expect THAT big of a turnaround. They have some nice young players, but it would take at least another piece besides LeBron to be a contender, and that is not certain. Also, while Brook Lopez and Devin Harris are young, and maybe even have played borderline All-Star level, I do not see either of them as being particularily dominant at their position. Brook is is a very nice scorer, but I think his athleticism holds him back from being a night in and night out dominant big. Harris has injury concerns, and a questionable jumper. Derrick Favors is a wild card, and is still in trade rumors constantly and T-Will is a nice looking player, but what else do they have beyond that? Not to mention they already have a James on their roster, and I might think LeBron would want Damion to change his name. The Nets will have a bright future with their new ownership and get-up, but I am guessing they are hoping for Harrison Barnes to make their line-up look rock solid, though we all know how that usually turns out.

But now what does Miami do? Who are going to be the pieces around Bosh and Wade? I am hearing possibilities of Mike Miller, Josh Howard, Matt Barnes, Kyle Korver or Richard Jefferson at SF, either Rid or Felton at point and are making a push for Brendan Haywood, who I am guessing they would overpay on just for Bosh not to have to play Center. Maybe even they will get Shaq to come back and play with Michael Corleone and the RuPaul of Big Men (joking). But, nonetheless, we at least know the Heat have a foundation, now it is about building around it. No one seems to even want Beasley, and he seems to be definitely out of Miami, so I am guessing people can get him for very cheap. I could easily see them getting a Haywood and maybe signing a Matt Barnes or Josh Howard for reasonable short term deals (if either is willing to stake his claim as a winner on it and hoping for a bigger deal after the CBA, which both should be concerns considering the team will be young and have a big lack of depth and the CBA might not give them everything they would hope for as far as financial security). Another possibility is sign Jason Kapono, I mean Kyle Korver and Brendan Haywood who are two good role guys, use a Mid-Level on someone else and maybe have a little better supporting cast as opposed to 3 Max players, of which it is more than likely only Wade and Bosh would be worth it (unless they get LeBron). Well, big day for Heat fans, Miami seems to be back in the picture and Dwyane Wade finally has the help he was missing since Shaq turned about 35. If LeBron signed with the Knicks, I would love to see the Heat and Knicks rivally again! That would be nasty, and honestly it might look like LeBron could have the better team, that is since right now the Heat have no one, but in a month or so, it might lean towards Miami. Nonetheless, I do not think their would be a sweep in that series next year, and it would be a ratings bonanza. I truly think LeBron will sign with Cleveland Thursday at this point, after thinking New York, New Jersey, Chicago, thinking about the Heat, than Chicago, than New Jersey and finally New York somehow coming back from the dead. I wrote a couple days ago that New Jersey had a better chance than New York, I think I am very wrong. You can’t get them all 🙂

They might have been, but financially Wade was not. Plus, I would be surprised if Toronto could get anything in a Bosh sign and trade, and I would love to see Riles have done a sign and trade for Dwyane Wade. So, team wise, yes, reality wise, no freaking way.

If the raptors don’t take back beasley I might just renounce the team. That’s just completely idiotic.

I’m assuming it’s just a negotiation tactic to get more out of miami.

Miami has like no assets other than Beasley, and I guess Chalmers who I doubt the Raps want. Miami is very much in the drivers seat as far a sign and trade goes, as they can sign Bosh regardless of whether one happens or not. I too as a Torontonian would like for the Raptors to at least get something, and Beasley is not a bad something, but man would our team look weird, lol. Where would he play? We would need to get rid of Hedo, because a Beasley, Bargnani and Turkoglu front court would get killed. It would not even be fun to watch, we would die for Reggie Evans to come into the game and get a rebound, and than die some more any time Reggie took a shot. Right now, the Raptors seemed to be very screwed in this deal, which serves them right for just thinking Bosh loved the city enough to stay with a mediocre team who just gave a huge chunk of money to someone who makes Toni Kukoc look like Charles Oakley (do not get me wrong, Toni was dope, and Hedo is not bad, but money is always an issue when a guy is not putting up his share of the work. Also, Toni was no great banger down low, but he was far superior to Turkoglu.) Beasley would be the best rebounder of the bunch, particularily offensively, but is defense is just as questionable as the other two, and I think Beasley is having a very hard time convincing people he will have a role on their team, he really has turned into the ultimate tweener. He has a great offensive arsenal, but he can not defend faster wings and is not strong enough to guard post players. He is like Zach Randolph, only shorter, not as good of a rebounder and much less strength. Beasley could easily average 20, but how much is he giving up? At least with everything Zach has that Beasley is missing, he can still be an All-Star due to his dominant low post offensive game, Beasley just would not have a chance at this point in time of making me think he could be one in the next few years.

As I pointed out, the Raptors will have very little choice in the matter, and I think taking a flier on Beasley could be a good thing, but that is contigent on also dumping Turkoglu. Regardless, the Raptors are undoubtedly Lottery bound, and hopefully a top 5 pick will solve some of our woes. Harrison Barnes would be a nice building block, Enes Kanter could give us a center who can rebound, and Kyrie Irving would give the Raps their best PG since Damon Stoudamire. I guess Toronto just needs to do something about its tax situation regarding NBA players, than maybe more guys would take the money that we offer and we can build a contender. Until than, no matter how much someone loves the city, their are always bigger, brighter cities that take away fewer pesos from their paycheck. Miami anyone?

this was obvious for a while…i really hope the nets come out winners here…i know its gonna look bad if lebron comes to a 12-70 with hopes of being in a win now situation, but the nets have a goal and peices set up to build a legit title contender for years to come. im a nets fan, but i truly believe hes better off in NJ than chicago. he can handle the ball he can play off ball he can just flat out dominate with the team we have around him. chicago is definitely 2nd best option for the mere fact i dont see him playing with bosh and wade, but you got the rose and jordan factors. rose is a pg, he needs the ball in his hands to be a player, lebron likes the ball in his hands as well. they will diminish eachothers strengths is how i feel. and for the jordan factor, why be a prince to king jordans thrown? if he wants to be loyal hell stay in cleveland but that team is aging and definitely doesnt have the same unity it did during the season, evident in their playoff play.

    wade – heat
    bosh – heat
    boozer – bulls
    lebron – cleveland OR nets
    lee – nets
    shaq – dallas
    allen – celtics

    SF: Beasley
    PF: Bosh
    C: ???

That team won’t stop many teams on defense.
Now rumors of Chalmers and a future 1st for Rudy Fernandez, not sure what Portland is thinking with that deal.
Couldn’t they get a lot more for Rudy Fernandez serioulsly.

why would anyone as big as lebron go to chicago? think about it…wade i could see for the mere fact hes from there, but obviously the sun is more important to him. lebron is too much of a brand, hes the closest thing brand wise to jordan and i definitely think that is a huge factor in his decision

Yellow dunker your wrong the Bulls don’t have room for 2 max players, neither do the Nets.
Bulls have 29.6 million and the Nets claim they can move some more cap.
Basically the Wizards messed up this free agency or else the Bulls wouldn’t be close having room to offer much to a 2nd big name player and neither would the Nets. Washington adding Hinrich and Yi was pretty stupid and the 18th pick they have to pay a guaranteed contract for a few yrs too.
