morgatilParticipantTrade Sasha and Luke for Calderon.
The money works out on the trade machine. Calderon in the triangle would be sick. Toronto gets and nice expiring contract in Sasha and Luke could get some time he deserves in Toronto.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantSo they are gunna have Calderon, Fisher, AND Blake? And they’ll have no backup shooting guard and a 3rd string SF as their 2nd string?

morgatilParticipantDo they have Fisher? Nope.
They’d be better off doing this deal, letting Fisher go or retire and resigning Brown.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantFisher is the leader of that team and he has been the leader in these 5 championships. They aren’t just about to let him go.

stanford hoopsNope we don’t need to make that trade. Don’t want that contract and we got Blake

fastdanParticipantRemember that they do have Ebanks now who can potentially be groomed for taking over Artest’s role, something Sasha will never do.

IndianaBasketballParticipantFisher will be 36 next year, BUT… He can still play.
Kobe trusts him and he makes huge plays.

TRC1991ParticipantIt’s funny Derek Fisher actually plays better in the playoffs then he does during the regular season
reg season: 7.5 ppg, 2.5 apg, 2.1 rpg, 38% FG, 35% 3PT, 1.1 spg (82 games)
playoffs: 10.3 ppg, 2.8 apg, 2.5 rpg, 45% FG, 36% 3PT, 1.2 spg (23 games)0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/06/2010 - 3:02pm #347802
