JoeWolf1Do you guys think he’ll become a decent pro? He has all the athleticism in the world and he is extremely raw, but if he is in the Orlando system with his dad who is well known for coaching bigs, do you think he can be something more than a summer league and D-League player?

JNixonParticipantHe’s terrible. He can defend and dunk pretty good, but he has no NBA level skill. He’d be a HUGE liability if he’s on the floor in an NBA game.

JoeWolf1He’s showed pretty awful shot selection early on in his first summer league game.

kaceyParticipantThe Magic offense has looked horrible so far. Of course it is the summer league, and of course Daniel “Offensive foul all the time” Orton was out there.

JNixonParticipantOrton has looked terrible. Who’s surprised by that? lol. Orlando’s would benefit if they had a true PG anywhere on the floor.

kaceyParticipantOrton looked good when he tossed Magnum Rolle in the beginning.

JNixonParticipantLMAO it was funny when Rolle went flying over there by the ball-boys the other players watching. Orton did get on that one, I agree.

IndianaBasketballParticipantRolle is one long dude

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantI don’t think Ewing’s going to get an invite to training camp. He is coming off the knee injury (I think it was the knee) that kept him off the floor all last year and needs to be seen by scouts from not only the NBA but abroad to get a job for next season. The guys couldn’t get on the Jamaican national team for a middling Centrobasket tournament. It doesn’t cost Orlando much to simply fill a summer league roster spot on a guy who doesn’t play the same position as one of their draft picks. It is doing a favor to one of their own. Didn’t the Kings give a summer league roster spot to Artest’s brother and one of Starbury’s teams for his. No different.

wuteverParticipantpatrick ewing jr is taking a large number of shots…i thought his niche was being a solid defensive/hustle type of player lol…i wonder if because hes playing for his dad hes given the liberty to take all these shots. I hope Jeff adrien and Jerome Randle somehow find a place in the L though, liking their game a lot.

YSUFan10ParticipantJeff Adrien IMO played very well today. He had a good 11 or 12 points along with 8 or 9 rebounds. Although he did struggle with his foul shots. I thought Ewing Jr. played pretty well, but he forced some bad shots. He may find his way onto an NBA Roster but i cant see him averaging any better than 8 points and 3 or 4 rebounds.

bobbybParticipantHe is more suited for a run and gun. He is actually a decent outside shooter( dont go by one game). He is very athletic can guard multiple postions and he is willing to sacrifice his body and has heart
