Biased2ShortGuardsParticipantDirk resigns with Dallas
Joe Johnson resigns with Atlanta
Rudy Gay resigns with Memphis
Paul Pierce resigns with BostonI thought that at least a couple of these guys were done deals to go somewhere else… with all of that hype, is this slowly turning into the summer of disappointment or what??… but there is still hope…
but if Lebron resigns with Cleveland and DWade resigns with Miami… I am going to be a very unhappy camper 🙁

JNixonParticipantThe only one that’s a surprise to me is Joe resigning with ATL, but that wasn’t a surprise after they forked all that money to him lol.
Rudy Gay was going to be offered max, unless some team made a truly reasonable offer and then Memphis would’ve matched it.
Pierce and Nowitzki were going to end their careers for their old team.

TRC1991Participantwow i was literally going to post the same thing tomorrow…
you know this summer has been weak if the biggest named player switching teams is steve blake

whyyouhatingParticipantIf he signs any where even Clevaland GM’s will start making big moves.
If he signs with Clevland then the Cavs will have to do something to improve and may make big trades to aquire
better players. If he goes to anoother team that team would have to makes move and the other teams in contention
would have to match them in order to have a chance to win.
Once he signs things will start…
so far it has been weak… but did anyone expect Dirk or Paul to leave? And did JJ really derserve a max?
Did you expect cheap ATL to throw that out there so fast? Amare is on the move also, he deifnetly is not going back to the Suns. Rudy Gay also is not worth what he got, he was smart to take that money, he may have got a max but it may have been a long shot.CanadaKush I like that name my dude, I know about that. lol

MJ FOR LIFE 23ParticipantIs it just me or are some of the free agent players (i.e. Drako Milicic, Drew Gooden, even Rudy Gay) getting paid too much?

khaled_a_dParticipantI am not disappointed ,a lot of teams have been either clearing cap space for the FA (like Knicks),or trying to be competetive tp keep their star(Raptors) or taking advantage of that situation and trying to make good deal with their expiring contracts
those forced a lot of moves in the past 2 years that I really enjoyed ,I always thought most FAs will stay, but the beauty of this summer will be about the effect it had in the past 2 seasons ,at least that is my opinion0 - Posted on: Mon, 07/05/2010 - 2:57am #346738

marcusfizer21ParticipantThe only thing right now for me is Brendan Haywood moving to a new team… I just can’t wait to see the decisions made by these marquee FA’s in LeBron, Wade and Bosh… But I really have this gut feeling that Bosh and Stoudemire are going to wear new uniforms… That can’t be much of a disappointment, can it?

dahoodrecruiterParticipantI think no1 really thought dirk or paul would leave ,but it was a really fun think to think about or to see paul peirce in a clippers jersey? {cuz he is frm L.a.??} to see Dirk in a heat jersey just cuz he is still in awww of how d-wade took over
the finals when they faced each other ……lolbut besides that i kinda thought jj would be on the move …but hey hawks decided to overpay lol
amare seems to be on the move to knicks good for knicks0 - Posted on: Mon, 07/05/2010 - 3:31am #346744

MagikKnickParticipantYeah, I dont see that much jersey changes like I, and many others, have hoped for. I also see Wade & ‘Bron staying
Johnson was probably the bigest surprise, I thought Atlanta would try and keep hi for cheap, but wouldn’t really mind losing him, to my surprise…not only did they keep him, but for 119 mill
