SteroidParticipantYeah, people were so surprised about Jennings scoring ability because he was deemed as the guy who can pass but can’t shoot a lick when coming into the league. I assume that question is answered now.. haha. Now he just needs to get those percentages up along with those assists. Now, I think people are forgetting how well this guy can pass the ball. He has the ability to average 8-10 assists per game.

scoutguruParticipantCan he really shoot? He shot 37% from the field this past year. I don’t know if he really proved anyone wrong. Yeah, he needs to get those percentages wayyyyy up steroid.

SteroidParticipantYeah, he shot a low percentage, but he can score. He had a 50+ point game I recall. Guys don’t have 50 point games in the NBA if they can’t score. When I say he needs to get his percentages up, it has a lot to do with him being more efficient than anything. Once he gets better talent around him and gets older, I could see him being more efficient because he wouldn’t have to force too many shots to win games. I’m not comparing him to Allen Iverson, but AI averaged .387 in one year, but we all know that AI can score. Yeah, he could have been way more efficient.. Same thing with Jennings, he averaged a .371 or something and I don’t question if he can score. I question if he can be more efficient. I can see Jennings averaging a .420 or something for his career. Besides this is his rookie year, unless he gets hurt, he’s only going to get better. Jennings’ percentage doesn’t tell the whole story either. I’ve watched games other than that golden state game where he torched some teams. He’s just a very streaky scorer. I’ll take that percentage because Jennings has that ability to score in bursts.

bigblackNbeautifulParticipantWhen ever the shot clock was down or they as a team were in a scoring slump young buck was the man they looked to. Not bogut not redd. Jennings. He shows up big. but he was still a rookie. People forget that the bucks as a team didnt shoot well and that jennings was relied on to take a good deal of shots. That will change with Maggette Salmons for a full year and a healthy bogut. His percentages will go up this year. This kid is hungry.
