Lebron James would be a much better player if he could play with a great scorer like Wade..

Yall are gonna kill me for saying this but I think Lebron is best served as a second scorer… To be at his best, he needs to play off of a guy like Wade or Kobe.. Kobe would be ideal but that will never happen.. Lebron can still be the best player on a team.. He can still be the face of a franchise and still be an MVP even if he doesnt lead his team in scoring..

Do you all know what made Magic Johnson soo soo great?? Kareem.. With a guy that can flat score the ball, Lebron would be able to focus on what makes him a truly great player.. Sure he is a damn good scorer but he has to force the issue and he kills an offense.. With a guy like Wade, Durant, Kobe, or even Melo, he would be able to focus on setting up teammates, playing great defense, and rebounding.. He would still drop 23-27 points per game but he would do it much easier and it would benefit his team if he could do so.. What is the best part of Lebron’s game?? His passing ability.. If he could play off of a great scorer, he would get so many open looks and easy baskets, he would actually be able to average a triple-double for a couple season.. If he didnt have to drop 30 a game, and could focus on the other thing. Lebron could rival Jordan and Wilt as the best player ever…

    What do you all think??

I totally agree with you 8th. Lebron has shown to me while in Cleveland that he loves to pass the ball more than anything, but the teammates he has had have been nothing more than average starters in the grand scope of things. If Lebron played with Wade he would have someone to pass to, and be much more of a triple-double threat every night. I also agree with you on not having to be the lead scorer in order to be considered the best player on the team.

Thinking about it some more I don’t think Lebron feels comfortable having to lead his team in scoring all the time. I believe Lebron would rather want to be a double digit assist player rather than a 30 ppg scorer. Lebron loves to pass the ball, and his passing ability it to me his greatest basketball attribute.

i actually think Lebron’s passing ability is his worst attribute because he does it to much, he needs to be more aggresive.

doing something too much doesn’t make it his worst attribute. For something to be his worst attribute it needs to be a weakness. Though, I do understand what you’re saying, but I do not agree with you.

When playing PG, I think LeBron is the best PG in the NBA. Some teams would love to have him play PG full-time. He is one of the best passers in the league and is a great ball-handler for his size which make him capable of playing PG. Just think about it. LeBron would be unguardable whlie playing at the point. He would be way taller and stronger and just as fast or faster than all the other PGs in the NBA. And just like 8th said, he would be able to focus on passing, which he’s really good at. He would still rack up a whole lot of points in the process. Some people even call him too unselfish and say he passes it too much, so if he plays PG, he won’t have to worry about being to too selfish and can pass more. This is if he is playing with another superstar.

I agree JMan.. I have talked to people who talk about how Lebron couldnt guard other PGs but I disagree with them.. They always bring up Paul and Rose to me.. They say that Lebron couldnt keep up with them.. While this may be true, he could either run them down and block their layup or he could just sag off of them.. I think it is a double edged sword with Lebron’s side being sharper.. Lebron could guard other PGs better than PGs could guard Lebron.. Mismatch every trip up the floor.. If they could get a big shooter and a stud like Wade or Durant, Lebron could play point every possession.. He could probably just lose a few pounds and be almost as quick as the other PGs..

It’s not like other PGs can stop CP3 or Rose either, anyway.

The closest thing LeBron will come to being a PG is playing Point Forward which he basically already did in Cleveland.
