OhCanada-ParticipantThe theme of this Free Agency has been teams overpaying players to stay. if Bosh stays in Toronto does that mean Bargnani is out in order for Toronto to get a true C?
Bargnani is too small to play the C but is a big and strong PF.He does not have defensive liabillities and other than being out of position at the 5 was argueably Toronto’s best defensive player last year.
If Bosh stays would Houston be interested in Andrea instead?

Toronto16ParticipantYou know last week I would have scoffed at this, but seeing the money Joe Johnson and Rudy Gay got, no way Bosh takes less than the max. And since Colangelo is playing hardball with the S&T, there is a slight chance he resigns. But Bryan Colangelo for whatever reason seems to be so enamoured with the over rated Andrea Bargani so I don’t see the Raptors moving him.

OhCanada-ParticipantKnicks gave up 2 potential lottery picks for an expiring contract…The Rockets got those pics for nothing.Maybe their owner says WE WANNA WIN NOW.
And IDC about the picks really.I just want the Raps to have those 2 picks and Bosh!HAHA.serves you right for targetting chris.
BTW the Raps are one of the many teams in the Brandon Haywood sweepstakes and I expect Amir Johnson to go to Dallas and Brendan Haywood to come to Toronto in part of a 3 team deal for wherever Bosh goes.

ZeroParticipantThere’s no point in making a bunch of biased trades that will never happen.

ZeroParticipantBosh will also leave, and IMO I don’t want a sign and trade because getting some players will take away playing time from Demar and Davis which is what those guys need.

Bison 49ParticipantAmir agreed to a contract with Toronto. He’s getting around $34 mil over five years (Rotoworld.com). He’s in unless he gets traded, or pulls a Hedo.

khaled_a_dParticipantWhy would the Mavs do that ?they aren’t helping themselves at ALL while making Houston better?
also Andrea was measured 7ft w/o shoes ,he has enough size for C,but his game isn’t suited for that position0 - AuthorPosts
