Portland and Minny want Lee so there will probably be a sign and trade. Eddy Curry Contract has value and also next year with the CBA if they keep some money they could get more max player with the money they have. Worst case scenario they take on contract with one year left on them for draft picks and wait til next year.

I was a Bulls fan when I was in single digits but became a NY fan when I became 10 because we got season tickets and I got to see them all the time and I actually got to sit with John Starks one time because we sucked so much lol.

It’s gonna be tough because I have so many NBA memories with NY but if they break my basketball spirit again- I just gotta go.

Noone cares. I want to watch good basketball. You got to see good basketball and I HAVE NOT. How am I a fake fan? I support the Knicks wherever I go. It’s tough for me to believe that NY is gonna get noone in this star studded class. You rip me but I’m being real. Like I said, if I leave it would be hard for me. I watched the Knicks since I was 10. I’m only 17 so I only know going to the Garden and going to watch NYK play. I was there when Ewing got his number retired, I was there for the playoff games and I was there when we made all those moves and defended them with pride.

I like DeRozan but DeRozan is not better than Walker or Gallo and I dont think his production was better than Chandler. So of yall are sleeping on young talent that Knicks have. People forget how Powe was a 2nd rounder and so was big baby and many team skipped on Rondo.

These guys were key to Celtics winning their championship.

It took Perkins a while to become good enough to be a solid contributor for Boston.

Knicks has 5 young and talented players who all good be better than with most teams that are trying to get Lebron has cept for Chi town.

Also dont sleep Jerome Jordan.

That gives them cap space and 6 young guys who could be big contributors down the road.

if we land nobody. im happy with the fact that donnie walsh got rid of most of those overpaid scrubs isiah thomas brought in. whether or not we land any max free agents ( which for two years now, i didnt think would happen) and no matter how much the knicks suck next year, at least we are going in a better direction than where we were headed with thomas at the helm. all i can hope for now is that walsh overpays NO ONE. and btw, im pretty sure that no one is signed, so for all you knicks haters out there, can you wait until everyone has signed to talk smack please? cause right now, you look retarded.

i dont blame the knicks for clearing space and shooting for the stars. BUt the picks? Giving up so quick on jordan hill( he will be a player in this league). Walker is not all that good.

To an extent players numbers definitely go up in New York, Earl Barron looked like Dwight Howard for a little. I think if you think Golden states players stats are inflated, you have to think the same about new york.

Id take derozan over anyone not named Gallernari on the knicks next season.

Wilson Chandler will be better than Derozan too. Derozan isn’t all that good a prospect like most believe. He’s a pretty good prospect, but I’d be surprised if he was ever an All-Star player. He has some serious weaknesses in bhis game, and his athleticism is good but not as good as most make it out to be.

Chandler is underrated. He’s a great player. He will never be a 20 ppg guy but a 15-18 ppg guy

Even if the Knicks don’t get the player that they are looking for…they will have a lot of flexibility financially for a long time…They have over $30 million this year free, and Eddy Curry is an expiring contract, so they can get something for that. I’m pretty sure that one of the top 10 free agents will be suiting up for the Knicks. Possibly Stoudamire, because of the connection with D’Antoni.

As far as The Raptors go…how did that big free agent signing of yours do this year, you know, what’s his face, Hedo Turkoglu. Without Bosh, they are a 25-30 win team at best…for your sakes, you guys better hope for a sign and trade.

And if anything the only knock I have on Bill Walker is that he’s damaged goods…he hurt both of his knees and had surgery on both…and he still could jump out of the building. Him and Derozan at this stage are the same player, and Walker showed a nicer shooting touch in my opinion.

They definately caught a break with Joe Johnson resigning for 6 years.
Lebron is obviously the big target and chances at Wade and Bosh are slim.
Still have some other options in Boozer, Brad Miller, Felton, Ridnour.
Walsh really needs to hire a GM becaz its obvious he’s having trouble.
KP is out there reach out to him and can use the cap space in trades.
They will need a SG who is a shooter a PG and obviously a PF and Center.
Their role players are fine in Chandler, Gallo, Douglas, Chandler.
Now unfortunately they could overpay other guys and take on some bad contracts.

What the Knicks need is an intimidator down low…someone to block some shots…the last true shot blocker the Knicks had was Dikembe Mutombo…that was like 6 yrs ago.
