valentineYahoo sports reports the Lakers have contacted Restricted Free Agent Anthony Morrow…. What do you guys think? He would be a solid shooter of the bench.

delfamParticipantGood backup to Kobe, but where does that put Sasha? PG is also more important need I think to fill.

Leftovers16ParticipantWell I just read that lakers are over the cap and they can only offer 2.5 mil which they wanted to give to fisher if he wants to go for 2.5 then that would be nice but I don’t think he gonna want to

Tobe BryantParticipantThe Lakers have addressed their PG needs by adding back Javaris Crittenton to the mix. He is a true PG, he’s been there since high school and college, and he ran the triangle in high school

DNYCESasha is an expiring contract, he will be gone by the trade deadline.

JNixonParticipantMorrow can fit in the role Vujacic played easily. He is the best shooter in the NBA IMO, and I think he’d contribute reasonably well if the Lakers acquired him.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantSome guys only play well in certain system..Dont know how well he’ll fit in with them…

Tobe BryantParticipantVujacic will be missed, he is a greater knockdown jump shooter, and an underrated defender (minus the one play against Ray Allen in the 2008 NBA Finals).

IndianaBasketballParticipantI think it’s time for Vujacic to go. He had some moments in the Finals, but that doesn’t excuse the fact he’d been irrellivant for awhile. He also makes too many mental mistakes.
I think Morrow would be a very good replacement. He’s an amazing shooter and hard worker. I’m not sure about his defense, but he’d be a good fit in the triangle and address a need… The Lakers were broke from three-point.

Tobe BryantParticipantLets say that the Lakers lose Farmar and Brown…possibly losing or trading Vujacic.
The Roster now sits at:
STARTERS:
PG- Derek Fisher
SG- Kobe Bryant
SF- Ron Artest
PF- Pau Gasol
C- Andrew BynumRESERVES:
6th Man- Lamar Odom
PG- Javaris Crittenton
SF- Luke Walton
SF- Devin Ebanks
PF- Josh Powell
SF- Adam Morrison
PF- Derrick Caracter
C- DJ MbengaShould the Lakers look to add Tracy McGrady now? Go for Steve Blake or Jarret Jack? Personally I would rather they groom Crittenton than any of the two choices between Blake or Jack.

DNYCEI heard if the Lakers don’t land Bosh for Bynum they are going to go hard after Boozer. Th Lakers should trade Lamar for Hinrich. The Wizards can then trade Odom for Beasley.
Hinrich/Fisher/Crittenton
Kobe/Bell, McGrady, or Brown/Sasha
Artest/Ebanks/Walton
CB4 or CB5/Caracter/Powell or Amir Johnson
Gasol/Elonu/FA big man0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/01/2010 - 9:19am #344911
