Before LeBron signs I think this will go through his head

    Jordan has Chicago
    Kobe and Magic have LA
    Wade has Miami

I think LeBron stays home, goes to Jersey for his own legacy or New York to revive the city and win were most feel you cant win

i think that does play into his head. I think people underestimate one of the truly great players in this game trying to be the next jordan having to play in his shadow and walk by his statue every day. If lebron goes to new york, new jersey/brooklyn, miami or stays in cleavland, he will create his own legacy. If he goes to chicago, there will always be people saying "yeah but he’s no michael". I do believe that plays into his thoughts very seriously.

I wouldnt underestimate Miami here. He’s been pushing other FA’s to join him there…..

but David Aldridge said it best “the numbers will never work the Heat dont have anything to ship out. The only players they can get are the ones in FA so teams will out bid them. the role players will look at Championship proven teams first like LA or SA even Boston. Miami with LeBron and Wade maybe all 3 NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but the 3 teams I listed above he will join

New Jersey makes the most sense, in terms of existing talent, ego, legacy, coaching, and money. Plus James could break David Robinson’s record for the biggest one-year franchise turnaround in wins.
