Not when the owners are generating between $100-200 million annually in revenues and teams like the Lakers and Bulls made $50 million in 2009. The stars of the league are the difference in whether a middle market team is on the high end or low end of the revenues and profits. The owners aren’t shelling out money from their pockets. They borrow to buy the teams. They pay the players and down their debt from those massive revenues, and if their franchises don’t increase in value every single year they cry poor.

The teams that lose money, deserve to lose money because they are operating like fools. When Kevin Pritchard throws around Paul Allen’s money like its paper, nobody seems to care. Its only $3 million on Petteri Koponen and another $3 million for Joel Freeland. Yes, the Joel Freeland and THE Petteri Koponen. How is that $3 million for Rudy Fernandez looking? He threw more of Allen’s cash to get a pick to trade for Nicolas Batum. Everyone thought he was a genius. Well, take a look at that roster and those salaries. Take a look at the money Pritchard threw around to bring in average players who don’t make the difference in whether a team wins big or not. He ran them into the tax, limited their flexibility, and left them with a long-shot lottery ticket in Greg Oden to determine whether they become a contender or just another also-ran. Heaven forbid Paul Allen wanting some kind of return on his payouts.

yea sometime when you think about it .The amount of $$$ money these guys get for putting a ball threw the hoop lol ,only if god woulda blessed me with ah inch of that talent lol
