I posted this before but now? It’s possible. Donnie Walsh’s contracts ends next season and he wants to retire. Pritchard is probably going to do TV for a year. If Walsh retires, I could see James Dolan offering Pritchard a nice deal.
What do you think?

Mr. 19134ParticipantI think KP will be picked up before then but if he aint then thats a marriage made in heaven cuz KP knows how to made a splash in the news with a trade here and there but if he got people to come to Portland how easy do you think it would be for him to get people to play in the Mecca.

MagikKnickParticipantKP could definetly get a job before next season starts, I dont know how many teams have ‘GM openings’ but if I was a team i’d be all over KP to GM my team, speaking of which, did the Suns/Cavs fill there GM spots already?

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantThis would be great for the Knicks.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantI read that Pritchard doesn’t wanna be a GM for next season. I think if he decides to do what alot of fired personal do ( TV for a season) then NY has a better chance.
Why go to Cleveland and Phenoix if LBJ and Stoudemire leave?

NYK2010ParticipantActually Walsh said he’ll be looking for a GM after free agency.
Walsh is having some health problems too been putting off surgery if he was smart he’d hire Pritchard now and he’d help with the team. KP knows what he’s doing and how many teams have the cap room and players to move around like the Knicks. At worst he’d be an assistant GM rite now till September then take over as full time GM.0- Posted on: Sun, 06/27/2010 - 10:13am #342684

knicks82ParticipantI keep hearing Chris Mullins name when they speak of a successor to Walsh. Also I know Walsh is grooming Allan Houston to become a gm someday.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantI would love Mullin as well. He brought in Baron Davis and S-Jax as well as drafting Biedrens, Pietrus and Monta Ellis as GSW GM.
I would love to have Mullin and when he’s done, Houston could be ready to take over.

rtbtParticipantI’m still trying to figure out why Paul Allen fired Kevin Pritchard? He would be a great fit for NY.
Forget Chris Mullin. What did he go in Golden State? Nothing.

JJeff6Participanthaha just throwing this out there (not trying to be biased). the suns just cut ties with steve kerr as gm….why wouldnt they consider going out and getting Kevin pritchard?? just a thought.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantHe wouldn’t go to PHX because Sarver is cheap. Paul Allen gave him a open budget and still fired him, imagine having him under a cheap owner? He’d fail pretty quick.
Mullin built that GSW team until B-Diddy left for money.
