Next season will be very interesting – More so than any other year. I think it will because of a variety of reasons. First of all there is the newly drafted Wizard John Wall who has soo much hype coming in and you also have the prior years #1 pick making his debut also. Then there is free agency, of course. Once everything is sorted out and players have joined their teams (either their original team or a new team) we get to see the whole landscape change no matter what, we get to see major shakeups that could contribute to a team that never won a title before to being a potential dynasty. Finally, It will be interesting to see if all the old teams like Boston, SA, and to a lesser extent Dallas officially crumble.

This years draft was very strong – Wall will be a star. Anyone, and everyone drafted from 2-5 can be a star, and their are those “potential” guys scattered throughout the whole draft from picks 6-60. i could concieveably see 10 All-Stars out of this draft, and don’t forget that Griffin will be a part of this class also.

LeBron should stay in Cle. – I really don’t have to explain this because I am sure all of you have heard the reasons why before. But to add on to that, I think nobody has mentioned the possibility of another player joining him in Cleveland. There is a possibility that this happend… Cleveland also has pieces to move in a SAT. Pus do people forget that Cleveland just played at a competitive level this past year? They had the best record and got the furthest of any of those other teams and they can still get better. Also, one more thing, why can’t James sign a 3 yr deal in Cleveland, give it one more shot and if they still don’t win then he can leave either at 27 or 28 right in his prime?

Next year I think we will get that LeBron vs Kobe Finals – Why not? The Lakers will be the clearcut favorites out West, by a mile. The Suns have a FA problem with Amare and Nash is just aging, The Nuggets aren’t getting any better, the Spurs reign is over, Dallas has a shot to get better but can anyone, realistically, see them being better than they were this year? And for the East the Celtics just gave it their last shot and the Magic look about ready to reconstrut that team. If LeBron goes to Mia, Chi, NJ, or Cle those teams would skyrocket to the top.

    thoughts?

LeBron could sign a two-year deal and use pieces like Jamison and Mo Williams to get himself a big-time free agent. Honestly, I think he will sign in Cleveland, but Nets would be my next call.

Boston have a chance to be contenders still if they can pick up a free agent like McGrady to replace Ray Allen whose inability to create his own shot has become too much of a liability. Spurs need to start rebuilding by casting away Tony Parker while he still has value and developing Hill. Anderson, Hill, Blair and Richards could form a great young core in a few years. Mavericks have had it; Kidd needs to retire and let Beaubois take over.

As far as the West goes if Portland can stay healthy then that makes two teams including the Thunder who could challenge the Lakers next year. Nuggets shouldn’t be underestimated, if Smith can make big strides he could be a force. If Jackson leaves the Lakers don’t make it out of the West. Might not be a Kobe/LeBron Finals if LBJ signs in the West. Clippers have a real shot at him.

I agree about this class being star-studded. Can’t wait for Griffin to come in and dominate and I’ll be curious to see what Wall can do with the players at his disposal.

However, I am going nuts with anticipation about how all this plays out and thankful I am living in such eventful times in the League.

lol@ Lemons. How is the world could Clevand add any more significant talent. They have no one people really want. Cleveland had trouble getting people before this free agency. Cleveland would have to do something dumb like take on Brand or Arenas contract to add any talent. They would have to take contracts that most teams would not touch and that would still not make them better than Orlando so how could they see the Lakers. Bulls and New York are better options. Dolan has tons of money and will not mind getting the right pieces to put around Lebron and another star after this season and they could be a team better than Cleveland was the year after Lebron signs.

“Hickson, Mo Williams, and Varejao is how”…LOL @ sheltwon
Hickson is your only real pro prospect and teams aren’t jumping at the chance to Get Him…
Mo is over paid and notorious for choking and chucking 3’s…He was suppose to be Robin to Lebron’s Batman…instead Hes’ Robin Williams in Flubber…He’s created a bouncing ball effect because his contract is untouchable…you may trade him for another contract with the same size or an expire deal like Troy Murphy’s…but in no way does this get you someone’s star…

Last Varejeo is your best defender but he’s a hack to the rest of the league and they can always find a hack that gets bailed out by having a star like Lebron keeping you on the court…There are a million Varejeo’s in the world of basket ball…just let a guy run into every body and flop about and not call a foul every time…He stays on the floor because he plays with Lebron…on another team …he’ll just be someone’s hack defender…6 fouls in 16 minutes type of guy…He’s a Bum…

That package would not get You..Bosh, Amare…Boozer…Wade….you may get David Lee and Andy Rautins…But Max Rautins asap…he’s your star….

Seriously by the “Lebron should resign in Cleveland line” leads me to believe your from Cleveland…
Don’t be a homer…he’s gone…that ship has sailed…he quit on them in the playoffs…he’s not a winner…not a fighter…he gets punched in the faced and backs down…If Teams play him hard and knock that Man Child around…he’ll fold up and call mommie…but she’s out bangin Delonte West …

Lebron James = Never Winning a Championship…honestly he needs a Super Team to do it…and then will I and the rest of the people with half a brain respect that ring…shouldn’t that ring come with an * next to it….********************************To me his legacy already has an * on it…cough…HGH….cough…
