    Im gonna get killed for this…but I got these stats off another forum from another poster comparing Gordon Hayward and Landry Fields.

    Remember Kurt Thomas?

    He was drafted in 95 and lead the nation in scoring and rebounding. He didn’t even remotely duplicate that type of play in the league. Not saying Fields can’t be better than Hayward (highly doubt). Just saying stats are overrated even when you compare them to somebody of equal size.

      I completely agree with you on that. Just thought it was interesting. Another thing to look at is who the competition was. Hayward played in the Horizon league, Fields played in the Pac-10. In a one on one game..I would take Fields over Hayward.

    OK, scratch that slightly. The Heat, as the defending champions and two-time Celtics vanquishers, still deserve the full wrath of the TD Garden crowd. But singling out Allen for his membership is just unnecessarily vindictive. Let the man live, Boston, and get back to focusing on how to dethrone his team in the seemingly inevitable 2013 East finals showdown.
