  It will come down to the wire, I think it will end up going into the extra 30 time, kind of hoping for a end of the game shoot out that would be cool, winning in regular time would be better though lol

I’m routing for USA in a sorta way…I`m Portuguese and thats my team through and through but if not Portugal I`m routing for USA.Although they are fun to watch and you must admire thier will and passion for the game they just don`t have enough to defeat a Brazil,Portugal,Argentina type team.Nobody has even scored a goal on Portugal.Spain vs Portugal should be the best match of the Tournment so far.

  It’s always possible for the USA to go really far in soccer but it’s just unlikely, basically same situation for hockey as it is for soccer, pretty good but hard to be the best, but in my opinion USA will always have basketball and obviously Football.

Soccer is full of surprises. one big surprise is….TEAMS BUY OUT THE REFS! Surprise! Therefore the Americans will always have a good oppurtunity to go all the way. When you see a team like Brazil get away with 2 hand balls in one game thats how you know the game is fixed.

my country had this game then blew it. even if the usa do win their still weak. if we just hadnt given them the penalty we probably would’ve won

  They never had the game, they out played us in the first half and scored and USA easily out played Ghana is the second half and scored, we will just see who out play’s the other in extra time

yeah its annoying especially those last few minutes, but it should be on the refs to do something. I mean if they let them take as much time as they want to walk off the field for substitutions then of course they are going to/should take advantage of that

  well USA tried damn hard and still had a great world cup but out of that match I give a lot of credit to the Ghana Goalie Kingson, he played really well, hopefully we will get em in 4 years

U.S. has a bad gameplan.They have plenty of talent just they lack in philosophy.They attack attack attack and soccer is reaally about defence.The best teams only try to score on counter attacks and dont bring there back players forward.Im not gonna try to explain soccer to americans thou. This game was not fixed at all…nobody can say Ghana only one becase they are within the host contenent.

please stick to basketball its clear you really dont know much about soccer. tell me how many times did the u.s. even go in the round of 16? if it was brazil or argentina it would’ve been like 4-0. u.s. is a basketball and football country ghana is a soccer country. u guys get super happy over a simple goal by donovan thats how bad it shows u the level of play in the u.s. usually teams that make it to the final four are super happy but to have the whole country going crazy over a simple goal like that is embarrassing. plus we didnt even have our star player too. essien was injured. so learn ur facts b4 u try to challenge me on this question

  I’m not even going to argue with you over this, I’m sure you know plenty about soccer and I would say I know my fair share, not everyone in the country went crazy when they scored, we were just happy that once again we came back from a 1-0 deficit sure USA isn’t the best at soccer but saying they shouldn’t be in the world cup in my opinion would be saying about half the teams shouldn’t considering USA is about the middle of the pack in talent level and coaching.

I’m mad USA lost. I’m not a really big soccer fan, but my dad is and my whole family was watching the game so I decided to watch it too.
