HaleParticipantI saw that yesterday, I like his perspective on it. Not his fault he got drafted #2, and if he was considered good enough to be taken there he should be proud of that. The horse stuff I didn’t read.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI’m a *huge* Greg Oden supporter, but it’s hard to deny the similarity to the start of his NBA career to Sam Bowie’s. And based on what I’ve read, they had similar personalities also.
Both players suffered freak injuries. Portland first discovered that Oden needed microfracture after he said he experienced pain getting up off of a couch. Bowen broke his tibia jumping during a photo shoot. Oden broke his patella jumping to block a shot. Bowie broke his right leg again in warm-ups.
I’m probably the biggest Oden supporter on this site… I hope they figure out what’s wrong with him this summer and he can avoid injury.

khaled_a_dParticipantwell,I feel for the guy,If any one of us had a career like him he will be proud of it,I actually think that worse players are proud of just being in the league
but after all of that he will always be remembered as the All time biggest bust, and It isn’t even his fault that he was picked b4 MJ0 - AuthorPosts
