JazzinSLCParticipantIn Maggette to help offset the inpending loss of Salmons. Obviously, a cost cutting trade for the Warriors.

ChiefSixOneParticipantGood for Bucks, Gadzuric was very overpaid.

bkb77ParticipantBucks got the better end of this deal, thought that warriors should have waited til the free-agent fall-out, where teams like Cavs,Wiz,&Min would have sent GS a little more then what they got for him.

parkerjParticipantCHIEF, gadzy’s contract was coming off of the books next year anyway…
i like the trade if maggette can play closer to 70-75 games a season, play within the system, and not drop off dramatically from the player he’s been recently

White ChocolateParticipantDoes this mean Aminu to the Warriors? They have no small forward now.

SwatLakeCityParticipantDone deal?
Horrible trade for Warriors, but just gave up early second rounder to Portland for 10 picks later, so I guess they dont care and just wanna get rid of Maggette’s contract. Could this be a preview of who the warriors will select? They now have a need at SF, with Randolph playing more like a 4 than a 3. Aminu could go 6th. Warriors love potential and raw or risky players. This description fits Aminu to the core.0 - Posted on: Tue, 06/22/2010 - 12:09pm #337784

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantRandolph could move to the 3…

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantChad Ford also said on Twitter that MIL gets the 44th pick as well.

White ChocolateParticipantEhh he is a 4 so I think they might go Aminu, but would Detroit draft Davis over Monroe?
0 - Posted on: Tue, 06/22/2010 - 12:11pm #337789

PlatypusParticipantleaves only Vlad Radmanovic, Azubukie, and the D leaguer Reggie Williams, do they draft a small forward now?
0 - Posted on: Tue, 06/22/2010 - 12:11pm #337790

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantAnthony Randolph is not a 4 IMO
I think he could be even more effective as a 3. Then draft Monroe and move him to the 4.

R-Dot-13ParticipantAnthony Morrow and Reggie Williams may get some minutes there also.

Mr. 19134ParticipantI still think Henry should be the sixth pick. There is nothing he don’t have. He has the athleticism see his combine number if you don’t beleive me. He has the intagibles very skilled player. He got the potential only 19. and he got the length to play either wing position. Plus him and Curry would open up the floor for their young bigs. And I beleive he will have a better career then Aminu easily.

delfamParticipantMight be a risk but I’d reach for Paul George at #6 or trade back for him. Aminu IMO is to similar to Anthony Randolph, and he is a tweener which I don’t think can guard other SF’s in the league. I think Paul George fits really well.

OldSkoolBasketballParticipantits all about the money now for the warriors.

B-ball fanParticipantI’d still take a big. They are soft down low. It wouldn’t be smart for them to pass on Monroe even with this trade. They can play Randolph at the three, or bring him off the bench for both forward positions.

BasterdInABasketParticipantBucks have three second rounders now. Theyve been saying they likely wont be moving up in the first round but if they are able to package some picks together to get ed davis or patrick patterson i hope they pull trigger

Lil B to GSWParticipantI think the warriors are putting Kelenna Azubuike at the 3, he started 51 of his 51 games in 08-09 and 7 of his 9 last year ( Because of a torn tendon). He can run the floor, shoot the 3 and rebound well for his size(not to mention he is my 2nd favorite behind curry).
0 - Posted on: Tue, 06/22/2010 - 12:50pm #337818
stanford hoopsthat would be dumb to move randolph to the 3. he cant shoot and his handles is suspect. his handles look better if he is dribbling against a pf or center. but when he has to do it against a sf he looks out of his element. hes much better at the 4 compared to the 3 no matter how much fans of his want him to be this great all star caliber 3( said it when most were on his bandwagon because of summer leauge..”it aint happening imo”
0 - Posted on: Tue, 06/22/2010 - 12:52pm #337819
stanford hoopsoh yeah…great trade for the bucks. i hear they love larry sanders.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 06/22/2010 - 1:19pm #337841

burningfloodParticipantEither the Warriors are confident that Azubuike will return to his previous form pre-injury, or they’ll slide Randolph to the 3. Both Don Nelson and Larry Riley have said that they’re going to draft either Monroe or Cousins, whichever one falls…they take BPA, regardless, and BPA is not Aminu. Besides, Aminu, IMO, is a less athletic version, better defensive version of Anthony Randolph…he’s another tweener.
Oh, and Henry’s a huge reach at the 6. And why would GS need another guard? Did Monta Ellis just suddenly turn into a prime Shaq overnight?

stanford hoopsi wouldnt put 100pecent stock into who these teams say they are gonna take. (other then the wiz).. they all seem to be playing mind games so they can get what/who they really want
0 - Posted on: Tue, 06/22/2010 - 1:53pm #337881

YSUFan10ParticipantIm a huge Bucks fan, they are my favorite team, and they will do great with Corey Maggette. Charlie Bell played a role a couple years ago, but he is now a stiff, who saw almost or no action in the playoffs with Salmons. Gadzuric was well overpaid, and also cant contribute on the offensive end, although he brought toughness. Depending on who the Bucks draft, sign, trade, i could see them doing better than last year.

parkerjParticipant*cough*BUMP the thread with more conversation*cough cough*
i would also like to add that i didn’t realize a pick was involved too…in that case i think i’d lean towards being happy with the deal…the contract could bite milwaukee in the ass, but at least they managed to get a piece that gives them more flexibility in trade talks
