    The Nets and 76ers are expected to have interest in free agent Brian Scalabrine.

    Scalabrine’s preference is to remain with the Celtics, but it is unclear if they will offer him a contract.

    i wish i knew why… Being a philly fan, i do not want Scalabrine.. I guess hes a hustler, and would be good in practice, but i doubt he’ll see anytime..

    Scalabrine should just retire and become an assistant coach. That’s all he gets paid to do anyways, criticize and encourage his teammates. Well, he also gives them gatorade and towels, and warms their seats up on the bench, that has got to count for something…
    And did anybody realize that he is the only white player on the Celtics? Man, that must have seriously been tough in the locker room. Even Doc Rivers is black.

    why does being the only white player have to be tough? there all grown men…….you must be from the corn fields, and in a town full of all whites, for something like this to make you feel uncomfortable in 2010….. people are people…. colors do not define treatment of one another..
