knicksfreakParticipantHopefully players such as Stephenson, Brackins, Warren, Lawal, Varnado, Torrance fall to the Knicks at 38 and 39.
Look to sign possible undrafted free agents such as Stephen Dennis whom I’m very intrigued by, Jon Scheyer, JP Prince, Charles Garcia, Denis Clemente and/or maybe Ryan Richards.
Try to buy a first rounder. Possibly Minnesota’s 3rd first rounder at 23, one of Memphis’s picks at 25 or 28 or even OKC’s second first rounder at 26. Whiteside or Bledsoe may fall that far, otherwise look to pick up Sanders or Brackins if his value stays high.

WizardofOzParticipantTeam: Wizards
The Wizards needs are a pass-first PG, a consistent wing player, and more depth at the 4 and 5.
At pick #1, I definitely think that we should pick John Wall, and that would address our pass-first PG need. At pick #30, I think that we should pick Trevor Booker and at pick #35, we should pick Quincy Pondexter. Those two picks would address our other needs.
There have been rumors that the Wizards are trying to get another lottery pick. If they are, I would definitely be fine with that. I think in order to pull off a trade to get a lottery pick, we would have to trade are 30 and 35 pick and probably a player. This is a trade that is realistic and that I could see happening on draft day.
Raptors get: Livingston, 30 and 35 pick, and cash
Wizards get: 14 pick
If we get the 14 pick we should either look to get a SF or a PF or C. Players that they cold look to draft are Paul George, Patrick Patterson, Ekpe Udoh, Hassan Whiteside, Daniel Orton, and Larry Sanders.
And that is my draft plan.

Da1potParticipantI think it’s pretty safe to say that my Wizards will draft John Wall with the number one overall pick. With the 30th and 35th overall pick, I would like to see them get draft just one center, considering they only have one on their roster right now, and a foul prone one at that. I think they will end up drafting Jerome Jordan, if Damion James is not available in the first round, because Flip Saunders is very high on James. A prospect I would like to see them draft is Nemanja Bjelica, a player I happen to be very high on, that would be a good bench player for the Wizards.

Bryant24Participantsince we won the championship people think we dont need to improve but kobe’s coming back older and off an long season and he might play in the world championships thats abiut 105 games not including the world championships so I think wee need more fire power off the bech to help lamar odom inconsistent ass and wee need a solid big man who can come off the been odom is more of an 3 and farmar is good and I like but i dont think he is our point guard of the future
if stephenson, lawal, warren, are players still availble when we are up there we should consider drafting them

IndianaBasketballParticipantPicks: 10th, 40th and 57th
The Pacers’ main need is point guard and Wall would’ve been a dream pick… It’s too much of a risk to pick Bledsoe at ten. Bradley isn’t really a point guard, though he had a nice workout here. Bird liked Bradley from what I’ve heard… IF we trade back, maybe he’ll be an option.
The T-Wolves rejected the trade, but I was excited to hear about Bird trying to acquire Flynn for the 10th pick. I think he should continue being aggressive as the draft gets closer. The Pacers have nice expiring contracts in Murphy, Dunleavy and Ford that can be packaged with the 10th pick.
IF they don’t trade the pick or trade down, I think the pick will be a big and it’ll be between Davis and Udoh. My pick is Udoh. I think he’d be a great fit with the Pacers. He’s mature, considering he’s 23 years old and ready to contribute. The Pacers could use his athleticism, shot blocking and ability to score. I think he has very nice intangibles and is the second best passing big man in this draft. I like the fact that he can play center if needed.
I’d like to acquire a point guard in the second round. Hopefully, Bird tries to move up higher. They could have a shot at Vasquez or Johnson. There are quite a few point guards that’ll be available in the second round.
The Pacers aren’t going to be good next season. The goal is to play hard enough to gain the respect of fans and evaluate the talent on the roster. IF we can get back young players in a deal for any of our expiring contracts, we should do that. IF not, then we need to sit tight. It’ll be a bumpy ride, but hopefully Bird will be able to rebuild the team via free-agency next summer… That’s when the Pacers will probably have more cap room than any other team.

RekeDMCParticipantTeam needs: Center (Dalembert only has one year on his contract and even if we resign him, we need depth), guard
Draft picks: 5, 33Plan for 5: Draft Demarcus Cousins if he is available. Tyreke Evans has said multiple times that he would love to have Cousins on the team. If, and only if, Cousins is already taken, other options would be: Wesley Johnson (best player available and we need a 3-point specialist type of guy) and Greg Monroe (finesse big man, but Cousins and Johnson are definitely preferred here)
Plan for 33: Draft either Jordan Crawford, Willie Warren, Grievis Vasquez, etc. Preferably Crawford, then Vasquez then Warren. We need depth at both guard positions, as for now we onle have Udrih(PG), Evans(PG/SG), and Garcia(SG/SF).
Do not trade down from 5.

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantDraft Evan Turner at 2…
If the Wolves blow us away with a package of the 4th,16th and Pekovic or 23rd pick than I can see trading Evan Turner…
Then we’d be drafting Cousins or Favors??? at 4, Henry or Anderson at 16 and getting a guy like Bledsoe or Damion James with the 23rd…I would even draft Vasquez with that 23rd pick after getting
Cousins and Henry…Vasquez would be a good back up point guard and that’s the only position we’d need filled at that point…If we don’t get multiple picks through some Evan Turner Trade,,,,then we must Trade Iguadola for the depth we would have gotten with the 4th,16th and 23rd picks…now that it looks more likely we’ll get Turner and move on…Iggy has got to get us the players to help Turner…
Either way Turner,Jrue and Iggy after draft day wouldn’t make me mad at all…but we can make a splash and move on some of the pieces being thrown around on the rumor mill

Tyreke JohnsonParticipantTeam:Lakers
Needs: Consistent bench and a young PG to replace Fisher, he needs to come off the bench this year. Lakers only have the 43rd pick this year so I am hoping Stephenson or Clemente fall and we can pick them up and groom them for the starting PG job. The bench may be inconsistent but I think our need for a new PG beside Kobe would be the first need.0 - AuthorPosts
