here’s my final mock for the forum. sounds like chad ford is releasing his mock 6.0 tomorrow. there are still a lot of question marks after 4. sounds like sacramento really likes monroe, but omar samhan killed him in a golden state workout and cousins outplayed favors in their head to head workout (reported today on insider). then at 8, i think things get really tricky with george, hayward, babbitt and henry. and then there is a lot of buzz going around for players sneaking into the late first (vasquez, pleiss, and hobson) and players with injuries that may not have guarantees (pondexter, elliot williams). anyways, let me know what you think.

burningfloodParticipantIt’s interesting that you said Omar Samhan killed Monroe in workouts, but then you said that GS would take Monroe. I know Don Nelson is high on Monroe, and said he’s a great passer, so I can see them actually taking him…but I’m just wondering, how much stock would Petrie put in GS’s workout of Monroe, considering that he wasn’t actually there (at least, I’m assuming the Warriors wouldn’t let the Kings’ GM into their workouts). I mean, they worked him out too, and they were high on him…wouldn’t they think this was the sort of smokescreen effort by the Warriors?

juves4783Participantthis was the quote from the article by chad ford today.
5. Kings: DeMarcus Cousins
Note: Monroe had a terrific workout over the weekend. Sounds like Monroe and Cousins are neck and neck here.
6. Warriors: Greg Monroe
Note: Interestingly, after the positive workout, Monroe had a shaky one in Golden State on Sunday. You don’t want to be outplayed by Omar Samhan when you’re trying to talk a team into drafting you at No. 6. This may change.i’m not quite sure how true this is or not. but the picks were made by an anonymous nba gm and the notes were made by ford.
