Before I begin, I just want to know if anyone else noticed the Jazz and Warriors logos got changed on the mock lottery–im digging the Warriors but idk if i like utah’s right now…

alright so i was lying in bed last night and i realized that the top 5 has looked primarily like this:
    1) WAS- Wall
    2) PHI- Turner
    3) NJ- Favors
    4) MIN- Johnson
    5) SAC- Cousins

BUT i was thinking to myself that the top 5 could end up shockingly appear to be this:
    1) Wall-the one pick that has stayed the same
    2) Cousins- after the shipping of Dalembert to Sacramento, Philly may need a true center for the future
    3) Monroe- new jersey really liked what they saw when he worked out-he doesnt have the upside of favors but hes more NBA ready
    4) Turner- minnesota’s guy slips to them and they didnt even have to trade up to #2-their ultimate orgasm
    5) Favors- sacramento wouldnt complain if he fell this far and they might even consider johnson at this point

i’m not saying anything i just thought this would be a very entertaining scenario…your guys thoughts?

i think Cousins makes alot of sence for the second pick.eventhough evans is clearly the next best thing after wall but i think this draft just might be the most shocking we’ve seen in a long time

When are they going to change the Raptors’ logo to the black and red one and not the purple one?

I actually think the Jazz logo is better. The warriors is just a boring picture of the Golden Gate Bridge. The Jazz logo stayed basically the same, but the colors have changed.

There is no chance this happens, I just read an article on Espn.com saying that the sixers trade did not change a thing draft wise. So I still have Turner going # 2. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/draft2010/news/story?id=5303668

Favors is pretty much a lock for #3. The only other possibility is Cousins. Monroe is good and would mesh well with the Nets, but his passing ability makes him attractive to many teams. I actually think Cousins is more NBA ready than Monroe is. Both of these guys(Cousins and Monroe) are Centers that can play the 4 as well. The nets do not need a center, now they could draft either one to play the 4, but both Monroe and Cousins would be so much better playing as Centers instead of Forwards.

LIke I said before the Philly trade does not change a thing so there is no chance Turner slips to 4. Johnson will be the wolves’ pick. Although Cousins should considering the debacle down low with Love and Jefferson.

The 5 spot is the only one that might change. I actually think Monroe will go ahead of Cousins, because of two reasons. One-Attitude problems, not very teams like selecting head cases, because of the damage it can do to the team chemistry. Monroe also reminds the Kings of Divac, a very successful the Kings used back in their glory days of Chris Webber, and Stojakavic. The Kings might want to try the old days style again. So Monroe would go ahead of Cousins, and I think he will be the better, because he can be effective without the ball Monroe is actually more passive than anything else, so he would be a great fit for Sac-town since a sensation in Tyreke. He can be a star but he is only effective as is Cousins. Evans and Cousins would not work because there aren’t enough balls around to make these two happy. Drafting Cousins ahead of Monroe would be like the Heat pick in ’08. The heat passed on Mayo that year who would have been a better fit, and now they are regretting and are thinking of trading Beasley.

No its not gonna happen but I understand what you mean.

Philly could just trade down to Minnesota if they wanted cuz that badly. Possibly even Sacramento…It should be fun to see how this plays out because they have so many different routes they can go with A.I. and Brand on the trade block.

The only way this will happen is if..

A-The 76ers want Cousins and see something truely amazing in him
B-The T-Wolves dont offer enough to move up in the Draft or 76ers want too much and trades are suspended
C-Igoudala cannot be traded for whatever reason
    D-Brand can be traded miracously
E-The 76ers pass up on IMO the best player in this draft
