I just don’t get it, they already have Iguodala at the 2 and they need to put Thad Young at the 3.
Take a look at the 76ers frontline, they have a washed up and injury prone Elton Brand and Dalembert is to skinny to handle the Dwight Howard’s of the east. Dalembert is a FA at the end of the season. What is their plan to make Marreese Speights their long term solution at the 5?? Speights should become Brands backup and they should draft Cousins. Hopefully they make a trade with the Twolves because they don’t need Evan Turner. With Cousins the 76ers are looking at a very good starting lineup for years to come.

    Holiday/Williams
    Iguodala
    Young
    Brand/Speights
    Cousins/Dalembert

and they could get the 16th pick from the Twolves to fill in some holes at the 2 or 3

I agree with Speights at the 4 and that they need a center, but Iguodala is not a SG. They experimented last year with Iguodala and Young at the 2 and 3 and It didn’t work. I see them drafting Turner because he is the BPA, but I would like Iguodala or Young to be traded.

Makes since because Turner allows rotattion flexibility, and he helps alleviate the playmaking void that’s left in the lineup. Jrue Holiday isn’t the type of PG that will make his teammates alot better than they already are, so having Turner gives Philly another player on the wing who can set guys up to score in different ways, along with Iguodala.

Thaddeus Young isn’t a good enough ball-handler to play the SF spot full-time and is better as a matchup ploy off the bench for a truly good team, so I think he’s the player that should be traded. Philly aren’t going to be title contenders, so Young should be one less player they have to worry about making a role for in the lineup.

Speights is a PF more than a C. I think Philly can get by without Cousins, I think Dalembert’s expiring contract could be a big trading piece for a talented big sometime next year. I don’t think we’d be missing a big thing if we passed on Cousins for Turner at all. They definitely can use Young, Dalembert, or even Iguodala to pick up a big man. I wouldn’t be a fan of Philly’s anymore if they dealt Iguodala, but they can trade for a big without picking Cousins. I have no problem with the Turner pick.

Yeah iggy isn’t a shooting guard simply because his shot is too sporadic. Turner’s shot isn’t the greatest either but he can and will improve that. He also helps them in the department of playmaking. What sense would it make for them to draft cousins without a player that can consistently get him the ball where he’ll be in position to do something. If they still had andre miller then cousins would be the better choice but since their pg is jrue holiday, evan turner makes the most sense.

Turner is too good to pass up. Stafanski is on the hot seat, theres no way he can pass on a sure thing in turner to go with a potential guy like favors or cousins who may be better than turner in 4 or 5 years but stafanski may not be with the sixers if they don’t have a good next season. Also there will be options to trade for a big man with good trading chips in thad young, lou williams,& dalemberts contract. So turner must be the pick.

One as got to go if we are to get a shooter and Replacement Center…I’d keep Turner because he his younger and will be on a better contract…

I totally agree, they dont need Turner and the T-Wolves do a lot! I meant they could get some talent from the Wolves if they trade. But i dont think M16 should play the 5 because he will be undersized at 6’10”.
