JNixonParticipantHe has a chance to get drafted. To stick on a roster? He’s got a very slim chance. He has a severe lack of athleticism. In alot of ways he’s similar to Jon Scheyer in that he’s smart and a good passer, but he’s not going to be able to defend or slash to the rim and put pressure on the D. He also was a guard that got most of his assists in basic fashion my hitting open shooters and basic post entry feeds from the top of the key. I have doubts about him in the NBA.

kanyedabestParticipantya as much as i love the guy i think he should get drafted but as u said as far as making a roster he might struggle, he is just too unathletic… he’ll be successful in europe if all else fails tho

memphisgriz731Participanti think he has a pretty good shot of getting drafted in the very late first round and maybe be the 12th man on the roster but not much more than that
i did like watching him play though he was a great college player and really tourched the memphis tigers this year which i didnt like but like i said he was a fun guy to watch and i hope nothing but the best for him

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantI’m sorry, but Beno Udrih is not only in the league but somehow making MLE money. I’m not saying that Bouldin is going to get the opportunity Udrih has to stick, but the talent divide between mediocre-to-average players in the NBA and really good players in the Euroleague is minimal at best.

AllDayyyParticipantI think he has about a 40/60 chance to stick, if he could become a really deadly peremiter shooter that would really help. My guess is he goes second half of the 2nd round to undrafted. He will definitely get a shot at summer league in Vegas hopefully he can perform there. But Im a huge Gonzaga homer so take fwiw.

PlatypusParticipantHe’s like a Bob Sura

PureshooterParticipantNothing like Bob Sura. Sura was an above average athlete in the NBA at the 2 while Bouldin would be well below. He is very strong, so that is a positive, but he isn’t really a lights out shooter and lacks the length and athleticism to really guard anyone.

PlatypusParticipantNo an older Bob Sura, my bad forgot to put the older in there

adjose5ParticipantI think it depends on the system. If Utah, Lakers or Blazers draft him, I can see him sticking as a 3rd PG. If not, I see him developing nicely in the D League or making good money overseas. Personally, I’d like to see him end up in Utah at #55. He just has that Jerry Sloan type of player written all over him. Tough minded, gritty, doesn’t make mistakes, plays hard and has a high IQ.

rtbtParticipantHere you go again, if you can’t find a white guy currently playing in the league, you will search until you find a retired white guy for the usual white to white guy comparisons. The NBA has 450 players, of whom approximately 80% are black, why can’t you find some black guys for your comparison?
Bobby Sura was a great leaper and a terrific athlete, neither of which you can say about Bouldin. Other than the fact that Sura was white and played guard, he had virtually nothing in common with Matt Bouldin.
