The Kings were rumored to have targeted someone under the radar but who woulda thought Hayward to Sactown? This means they must really not want Cuz and not sold on Monroe. Who do you think Denver is targeting if they get the 5? What about the 10? I dont think Cuz fits in with them or there needs, maybe Monroe or Aminu. And at 10 maybe Patterson

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantI’m cool with Hayward to Sacramento if they trade down. They pick him at 5? Terrible pick.
Pick Hayward at 9-13? Alright, I can understand it.

NorthernLights666ParticipantIt will be a move down to get Hayward and get rid of Noc’s contract.

OhCanada-ParticipantGarcia, Nocioni and the 5th for Turkoglu, Johnson and the 13th or something along those lines…

NorthernLights666ParticipantWhat’s funny is that Sacramento will probably trade down to a team that wants to grab Cousins and will think MN isn’t going to take him, boy will they be wrong. MN will take him, and that team that just traded up to get him at 5 will have to deal with MN and give up a boat load. That’s the worst case scenario for MN, they take Cousins and deal him for Johnson and another piece. They will not take Johnson straight up, love to see Kahn putting out all the smoke screens though, like telling Johnson’s Agent they would take him, comical.

Mr.Knick 32Participant7, You still didn’t name me a fair sign and trade…you should go look for one…

PurpleMonkeyDishwasherParticipantWolves will not take Cousins…. he’s went out of his way to make certain of it, including refusing to work out for the Wolves. Why would they want a player with a questionable attitude and work ethic (gained 20 lbs) that doesn’t want to play for them?
0 - Posted on: Mon, 06/14/2010 - 2:33pm #332264

NorthernLights666ParticipantKings:
Marcus Banks – 1 year left on contract
Jose Calderon
13th PickRaptors:
Andres Nocioni – 3 years left on contract
Francisco Garcia – 2 years left on contract
5th PickWould it be more fair if I included Jason Thompson going to the Raptors? It still works financially.

NorthernLights666Participant@ Steve from Nowthen, they won’t keep Cousins, they’re going to select him and trade him. Their FO doesn’t like him, they think he will bust out with his first team and become a consistent force with his second team. He still is one the “Top 4”, and I’d say it’s almost certain most teams have Cousins a tier above Johnson. The Wolves will not take Johnson in any scenario, heard enough from Kahn and The Mayor this season at games that he wasn’t a Star and that’s what they feel they need. The Wolves are seriously two or three more seasons away from being sold and leaving MN, they have no fan base here. The NHL gets much more love here, sad, but true, either they make some huge moves, like moving all their 1st Round Picks for Turner or they will be the…….. Seattle Sea Wolves very soon.

the27guyParticipantOkur and the #9 to Sacramento for Nocioni and the #5?

torontoraptors10ParticipantIf Sacramento will trade the pick, it will be to move lower and select Greg Monroe.
Tayshuan Prince + 7th pick to Sacramento for Nocioni + 5th pick.
Detroit gets to select Cousins and the Kings can get Greg Monroe

Bison 49ParticipantBlanco,
The Kings might want Turk. I know he plays the same position as Hayward, but they want a vet on the young team. Nocioni is a vet, just not their vet. They might take Turk and Banks for Nocioni and Garcia.
There is tons of info now, false and true, but I’ll bet that the Raps deal with the Kings for Nocioni. They just might not deal for the picks. The Kings would be taking a risk of missing Hayward at 13.

kanebangerParticipanthey dbag i know you think your bff’s with kahn and the mayor or something but the franchise isnt going anywhere When the owner lives in Minnesota and i have heard nothing about him selling it. By cousins not working out for the wolves he tells every other team hes hard to work with i know you all are on cousins jock for some reason like you know him irl but hes an ass.

NorthernLights666Participantkanebanger, wow, anger problems or what? Glen Taylor has lost over $60M the last three seasons combined, how long can that last? Wouldn’t the logical solution be to sell the team if you were losing money like that? I live in MN and the Wolves have little to no fan base locally, why would they stay? If you were from MN and went to Wolves games you would know Kahn and Hoiberg gave many pre game meetings with fans before games. They talked about getting a star, and gave hints that they didn’t like certain players, namely DeMarcus Cousins and Wes Johnson. They realize Cousins is the 4th best prospect, and as a result of that value, they will take him. The whole thing with him not coming to workout here is his agent; Cousins is his 1st client and he’s trying to make some noise. I’m sure he heard from somebody that Kahn would take Johnson, but that’s what Kahn does, the guy is one big smoke screen. This is David Stern’s buddy, another shrewd lawyer who gets what he wants. The problem for him last year is he didn’t have a Coach or a personnel guy (Ronzone) that he trusted that could help him in evaluating players, which I admit Kahn is poor on. Kahn is looking to build a team around Rubio with versatile players that are capable of playing many positions and being able to be a do all player, like Turner, can rebound, create, shoot, play D, run. He’s stated many times in the media that he’s not looking for players to just play specific roles, he wants versatility, with the fact that Johnson can’t create off the dribble takes him out of the question at 4. Johnson could be a good player for the Wolves, but they need a star on the perimeter, a guy that can create.

wesleymatthews23ParticipantMaybe not Okur, the 27guy but AK. AK and the 9th, for Nocioni, Garcia and the 5th.
Jazz lineup Williams, Matthews, Nocioni, Millsap, Okur (monroe is a backup to Millsap or Okur)
Sactown lineup Udrih, Evans, AK, Landry, Thompson (9th pick would probably be a backup. Either a four or a two)0 - Posted on: Mon, 06/14/2010 - 6:25pm #332454

NorthernLights666ParticipantNobody in their right mind would take on Turkoglu’s contract.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 06/14/2010 - 6:26pm #332455

NorthernLights666ParticipantWhat was Turkoglu’s PER last year, like 12? Most money paid for the lowest PER in the NBA.

Charlie SheenParticipantDenver probally goes at Ed Davis I think he fits great with them then they’ll probally trade Martin by the deadline or let his contract expire to be in position to get 2 MAX guys or Melo and 2 good pieces in 2011 maybe re-sign Melo and JR let Nene go and sign Horford and draft Kemba to be their new Ty Law and sign Tyrus Thomas in 2010 and sign Ronnie Brewer in 2010
