I know a lot of people have given up on him as far as the draft goes but do you think he could have a derek fisher type career?
I mean that is my player comparison for him and I also think the Lakers would be a good team for him. He could eventually take over Fisher’s role and replace farmar next year.

Just don’t see it. Maybe third string back up. If he shoots lights out in a summer league maybe a back up point. I don’t see him playing in the NBA much.

I mean I know on draft express, they say he’s good at making bad shots, and he’s good at open shots.
That’s all Fisher does lol. Fisher also has that 6’7″ wingspan.

but I just don’t want to see him be another acie law or salim stoudemire. He has talent. People don’t realize basketball is about more than athleticism. I remember I heard people saying the National championship sucked but it was just good fundamental basketball.

    what’s wrong with fundamental basketball?

I agree with DX on that. He is pretty much good at making bad shots. I don’t like Reynolds as a prospect either. Not athletic or very quick, and he’s not a true PG. Also has never been a defender. He’s not a good enough shooter to be like a Eddie House either. Just don’t quite see it in him.

I like Scottie Reynolds, he is a great leader and has heart. He is a bit of a combo guard but he can play a Fisher type role, he hits open shots and is pretty unselfish, he went through a rough period this season with shooting and everything but he can down the line start on a team with a lot of talent for him to be effective, he doesn’t necessarily make teammates better but he can find the open man, he isn’t particularly quick but is crafty and he is not very athletic but he does possess a good amount of athleticism. He just needs good players on his team so he can play off of them even if he is a PG.

I think Scottie will dominate the Israeli league for years to come!

Poor mans Nate Robertson. He can be an instant offense of the bench but not as good.

Man even if you had gotten his name right, it still would be a turrible (barkley voice) comparison. Nate Robinson most athletic dude in the L, Scottie Reynolds 5th most athletic guy on whatever European/Israeli team he will be on.

Im not bashing Scottie Reynolds, guy was an absolutely great college bball player. He was a ton of fun to watch at Nova, and had a fantastic career. I just don’t see him sticking in the L.

I think he’ll go undrafted. As far as an NBA comparison I would go with John Lucas III, an undersized scoring point guard who can knock down a big shot, but has defensive weaknesses, I think Scottie should go overseas rather than pursue the D-League, he can make more money and even if he does do well in the D-League I don’t think he’ll ever be more than a 10 day contract journey man.
