xbadgerhustlerParticipantso do you think the wolves should take monroe at 4?

JNixonParticipantI think Greg Monroe is the 3rd best prospect in the draft. The countdown wasn’t based on team needs.

xbadgerhustlerParticipanti wasn’t saying based on that list, but just in general, if you’re david kahn, who do you take? I’d be fine with either Cousins or Monroe. I think Monroe is a better fit for the triangle. I think Cousins is more of a center.
I’d also be ok with trading down to the WArriors (4 + something for 6 + randolph?) because I think we’d be ok drafting one out of Cousins, Monroe or Johnson, who figure to be the 4,5,6 in some order

xbadgerhustlerParticipant(and i think the warriors are interested in monroe because of his passing- or at least they should be)

JNixonParticipantI think if they were willing to trade Love, Monroe would be a good fit. But if they want to trade Jefferson, Cousins would be the guy that they’d pick. I think they’ll trade Cousins if they pick him anyway though, but I don’t think it will be to Philly.

AllDayyyParticipantThey need to fire Rambis and get rid of the damn triangle offense. You could not find a worse fit for Jonny! While I think Monroe has lots of skills and would definitely be a good for fit for the triangle, I am not really that high on him. Watching him at GTown on tv and in person, he just doesn’t seem to have the fire or competitiveness to be great. Most of the games I went to I always found myself wanting more from him, I thought that he had the ability to take over games and just wouldnt do it. While I would say some of it had to do with the system they run and he seemingly going more aggressive during his soph year, I just don’t see him wanting to be the guy.

JNixonParticipantRemember, that Princeton offense revolves around big men that can pass the ball well. Monroe didn’t take over games scoring because alot of times he also had a role as a playmaker for others. I think he’ll do fine scoring the ball and passing, and he’s probably be an average defender and rebounder. I think he can be an All-Star player. Very unique talent.

Captain LParticipantWhy do you have Aldrich rated so high? I don’t see it, please explain.

MrAnalystJeff Green didn’t put up amazing stats at GTown either, and he came into the league and contributed immediately. Monroe’s stats are alot better than his. Even Hibbert, he only got like 7rpg at GTown and he didn’t do too bad this year either. I think mr.7000’s right about the system.

JNixonParticipantRead the scouting report if you don’t see why I have Aldrich so high lol. It’s alllll right there my friend
