Why are the majority so aloof when a particular mentions the name Dominique Jones?

its because we have seen too many dominique jones’ in the past…undersized 2-guards that cant play the 1, look too much into getting shots up on offense rather than taking part in a team game, and are used to being the #1 guy on their college teams that they cant be successful as role players

examples of such: rashad mccants, jermaine taylor (maybe a little early to write him off but i dont see any potential), quincy douby, maurice ager, morris almond, kirk snyder, maybe even guys like daniel gibson and jameson curry

dom jones and aubrey coleman are awfully similar, neither of which will do anything spectacular in the L

Hes a good prospect, but I don’t think hes underrated. Hes a combo guard, much like Rodney Stuckey, and he doesn’t have 3 point range. His upside is somewhat limited. Hes right behind Xavier Henry, James Anderson, and Elliot Williams as far as SG in this draft.

And the whole knock on him last year was the fact that he wasn’t a team player, and his attitude is horrible.

I was told this by NBA players, we were running 5 on 5, and he was only looking for his buckets, which he is super competitive. Which is why he doesn’t trust his teammates, he believes he can do it all and win. That was last year, he has really matured as a player, and is now actually a little bit unselfish. I played against him and with him, last summer. I was the biggest hater of him, even calling out the USF team, but he has really proven himself this year. I hope he does succeed, he will def work till he is good, don’t question his work ethic. The guy is built like a TANK, he could honestly play LB in the NFL.

He shouldn’t fall into the second round, if he does then someone is getting a steal.

Whatever pople say, Jones had some monster games the past year, is averaging more than 20pts with more than 3as, is solid physically and could turno into a good two from the bench.

Remember back in the 03draft? Dwyane Wade was said to be a reach at #5, many people thought he could fall as much as 22nd. Now look at him.
