Personally, as a T-Wolves fan I’d rather keep Love as opposed to Big Al. I like Big Al dont get me wrong, but he seems to lack some level of work ethic and leadership that Love brings to the squad. The numbers Love is putting up in 20 mpg is damn near crazy. He is still managing double doubles and some 20 pt games despite coming off the bench and only playing about 1/2 a game. He’s a much better fit for the triangle too and he has better range and is a little bit more mobile than Big Al. If we get rid of any of them, I hope it would be Big Al (bigger contract too), but i would hope to get more than just Jeff Green in return for him. What we really need is a 2/3 as opposed to a 3/4 type guy anyway.

Yeah i think the management of OKC is going to try to add while not substracting any real contributors. On a side note do they have money for this up coming summer? Sure they can dream of bosh or amare but i think david lee would fit well and could be had some what easlily if offered the right money.

OKC wouldn’t make that deal and everything that I read and see tells me that Minn is going to try to move Jefferson rather than Love (for the reasons that M Dymes said). OKC will not want to break up their core of players that they have going there. According to hoopshype, it looks like OKC is going to have some cap space this summer. That is where I think they go after some players rather than with breaking up their nucleus.

What is jefferson’s value right now? I haven’t watched him much this season but last season he was still a very good low post scorer and rebounder. Earlier in the year when they offered him for granger i was shocked when the pacers said no.

He has had injury problems, off-court issues, has been playing in a system that he does not fit in particularly well to, and is playing next to a guy who is another really good player, but too similar to him. Every team in the league knows these things, so his value drops accordingly. The Wolves need to move him more than other teams want him I think is the problem. If he was playing really well and him and Love meshed together than the Wolves would not NEED to move him, so they could probably get a better value for him. But at the moment I don’t think that he has a whole lot of value. Devin Harris for Jefferson would be a good deal, but would Jersey do it. It seems like Brook Lopez fits better with a stretch 4 then someone who takes up space in the paint.

April 4th, after Milicic left the game at the 10 minute mark after blocking 3 shots, Kurt Rambis said, “”Losing Darko hurt, he’s such an imposing presence inside defensively”.

What does that tell you? It tells me the head coach realizes what Milicic brings to the team on defense. Although many others were surprised by the play of Darko, I wasn’t. Milicic had some big games since being inserted to the lineup. On more than one occasion he had a double double in scoring/rebounding while blocking multiple shots. His assist numbers were also pretty high for a center.

After this draft not many team will need a player like him for that money. Maybe Bulls could use him but they have a chance to draft and maybe sign someone better for their team.
