gregoden08ParticipantDon’t understand the reasoning in drafting Wes Johnson if im the Warriors. A player like Favors will not come often the Warriors should draft him and pair him up with Biedrens and they will be an awesome rebouding team. Let’s not forget, Favors is 4 years younger and has immense upside. Johnson is just an athletic shooter who can rebound.
Ebanks is vastly overrated and will fall into the late first round. I don’t see where all this high ceiling crap is coming from cause he’s not really that athletic and is to small to play the 4 and not skilled enough to play the 3. Mid-late 1st round for him.
Switch Butler and Pondexter. Celtics need an athletic wing who can defend the 3 and the 2. Butler is a liability defensively IMO and things won’t change in the NBA.
Armon Johnson isn’t ready yet. If he came out this year he would be a high 2nd round pick at best. Trust me.
Besides that…Pretty good man. Paul George’s stock could go up…Like the James Anderson pick at 18. Love the Cole Aldrich pick to Houston. Really makes sense. Not sure if he slips that far though. They might need to trade up. The Piston’s would be smart not to draft Whiteside. But that’s just my opinion. Some team will end up loving him, drafting him too high and seeing him play limited minutes/being in the d-league ala Thabeet/Mullens.

nateoak10ParticipantWe’d love Wes, we don’t have a great perimeter defender he can become that and he gives us needed size. We’d like him cause Favors plays PF and AR is our future there and we still like Wright who’s preseason was great and was called our best player in camp but got hurt. You also have to remember when making a mock leaving your personal opinion out of it is essential, you have to think like a GM so Ebanks going high is very plausible despite what your opinion is
Question, where is Avery Bradley? Also Paul George said he’s probably coming out and I think his potential gets him in the top 23. Anyway this looks great

gregoden08ParticipantI’m not using my personal opinion. Ebanks is a mid-late first round pick on most mock drafts. Have you seen him play? He’s not that impressive. Scouts really aren’t that high on Ebanks (from what draftexpress has said).
GS front line if very thin. Yes, AR is going to be a very good player, and yes BR could live up to his potential, but GS lacks any bulk. Favors has an NBA ready body (only 18) and could contribute right away as a rebounder, defender and finisher. I just don’t think that adding Wes will make a huge difference. He is a solid defender, but will he be in an up tempo offense? Doubt it.

nateoak10ParticipantDESPERATE
Also yeah were thin and if we get a big it’s going to be a center. If Favors measures in at 6’10 or above it could work like how Horford has especially since AR is 6’11 and may end up 7′. I’m not saying its a bad pick but Wes would be great, if Favors is 6’9 or lower I say no. Also Wes in our system would work well, an athletic guy who can shoot 3’s? Oh hell ya Nellie thinks. Nellie would love the guy

butidonthavemoneyThe Warriors could use help in a lot of areas, but I think that they will draft Whiteside. He fills a need, is athletic, and has a good deal of potential. The Warriors are one of the few teams I see Whiteside being sucessful on…
Ebanks can do a lot well. He is a great passer and defender. He would fit very, very well in LA next to Eric Gordon. I see him as a lottery-mid first round pick but I think the Clips would be very smart to draft Ebanks.

midwestbbscoutParticipantWell if its a wing defender the Warriors need they are better off drafting me than Wes Johnson……and if Miami makes those 2 picks back to back he for sure has officially become old and senile…..and lol at the Clippers taking Ebanks right before Monroe…they would….
other than that I’m likin the looks of this one…..

butidonthavemoneyThe Pacers will not be drafting Cousins.
Cole Aldrich will not fall to 14.
Utah would take Monroe or Aldrich over Henry. They like their situation at the 2-guard position (note: Ronnie Brewer trade).
The Grizz would do backflips if they ended up with Patterson, but I think the Bucks snatch him up (if Monroe isn’t on the board).
Overall good mock.

TRC1991Participantthe pacers have a lot of needs: center, point guard…i think they need to send brandon rush to charlotte for dj augustin

butidonthavemoneyMaybe the Pacers need Cousins, but they won’t draft him. I am flat out telling you. Ever since the 2004 Brawl at the Palace, they have only been drafting high-character guys.

midwestbbscoutParticipantthe Pacers should take Cousins wherever they pick….but you’re right they won’t and that’s why they suck every year….if I’m hiring a shooting coach, Larry Bird is probably on my short list….if I’m trying to build a winning NBA team, he’s somewhere around #3,854 barely edging out my mom…
