JNixonParticipantKansas State will win.
Freddette should have a decent game, but I think K-State should do a good job of using their length to disrupt him. The rest of the matchups are very favorable for us, and I think Jacob Pullen has just as good, if not a better game than Freddette does.

JoeWolf1I think K-State would win this game 3 out of 4 times, but I think BYU’s guard play is good enough to pull off an upset with a big game from Jimmer, and Lloyd Jr. really impressed me today, but K-State looked very good today and will probably win,…but if BYU won, I really wouldnt be too shocked.

rtbtParticipantI think there’s one fundamental reason why BYU doesn’t have much of a chance against K State and that’s rebounding. They were killed on the boards by a mediocre rebounding team in Florida who had 17 offensive rebounds. If BYU would have rebounded some of Florida’s key missed shots near the end of the game, they would have won without going into double OT.
Having said that, you never know what will happen in the NCAA tournament. I watched in disbelief as Ohio University not only beat Georgetown, they dominated. They scored 97 points against the Big East powerhouse and made it look easy.

JNixonParticipantKansas State has advantages all over the court. I’ve watched just about every single K-State game, and I can guarantee you that Freddette will have to work for his shots and he’s going to get played very tough by either Pullen (more than likely) or Clemente. Freddette will get points, but I think that Curtis Kelly will outplay BYU’s frontline, Jamar Samuels will be a mismatch for everyone on BYU’s frontline, and Jacob Pullen could have as good a game as Kenny Boynton had yesterday, while giving up less points than Boynton did. BUY’s has nothing better than K-State matchup-wise, unless Clemente defends Freddette. And Clemente’s speed might be too much for Freddette as well.

rtbtParticipantJNixon-Iggy9, I think after you combine my post above with your comments, BYU doesn’t have much of a chance.
