llperezcal bears starting pf Amonde Omoke has been suspended indefenitely due to violating team rules. This hurts a cal team that is already lacking depth heading into their first round game against Louisvile. Omoke is a role player and not vital to their success, but he is their best big man at running the court and is a good athlete who fits into their up and down offensive style.

llperezdepends on what it was for. You could look at it that way, but then what message or you sending the kid? Im gonna suspend you, but lets wait until the tournamanet is over? It is kinda admirable of coach montgomery that he is putting rules first.

DanEboyParticipantWhat punishment can you give him after the season is over?

OrangeJuiceJonesParticipantMaybe suspend him for a game or two at the beginning of next season, if he’s that important.

llperezyeah, but again, you would be putting winning over discipline and following the rules. I think if he was a senior or a star player, maybe they would let it slide, who knows. But i give montgommery props.

Adi JosephReally shouldn’t comment on unspecified violations. It could be anything from showing up late to practice to berating and cursing at a coach in front of players.
You don’t know, so you can’t argue the penalty.

llperezyeah, we have no idea. He could have done something that really made it a no brainer that he would have to be suspended.
