WizardofOzParticipantThis is who I think each lottery team will pick based on team needs with explanations.
Nets – Possibly Wall but leaning towards Turner because they a have a former All-Star PG in Devin Harris and seek and upgrade at the 2-guard spot.
Timberwolves – Possibility of picking Wall, but I see them picking Turner because they already have a young, talented point guard in Flynn and and have the rights to Ricky Rubio. Some say that they will trade one of them, but I don’t see that happening because they will want to address a position of need in order to become a deeper team.
Warriors – I see them picking Wall and trading Monta Ellis especially since they were trying to move him earlier in the season and they’ll keep Curry at SG
Pacers – Wall because they are in dyer need of a point guard.
Wizards – I see them choosing Wall and moving Gilbert Arenas to 2-guard.
Pistons – This is a tough one. I’m leaning towards Wall because they have already have 2 proven veteran SGs in Hamilton and Gordon, but if they choose Wall, they’ll have to sort out the situation between Wall and Stuckey.
76ers – Wall because they currently only have PG on their roster..
Kings – Possibly Wall but I see them drafting Turner because I don’t know how they can get Wall and Turner in the backcourt together because both like to have the ball in their hands.
Jazz – Turner because they already have a superstar PG in Deron Williams.
Clippers – Wall because they already have a SG in Eric Gordon and Baron Davis is not playing the way he was playing a few years ago an they need o find a replacement soon.
Bulls – Turner because they already have their future PG in Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls need a SG.
Hornets – Turner because they already have arguably the best PG in the NBA right now.
Grizzlies – Wall. Mike Conley is playing well but they already have a SG in OJ Mayo and they might seek an upgrade at that point guard spot.
Rockets – Turner because they have a future superstar PG in Aaron Brooks. They also do Have Kevin Martin so another option would be trading the pick.0 - Posted on: Wed, 03/17/2010 - 3:37pm #267021

BasterdInABasketParticipantEvery NBA team- John Wall

WizardofOzParticipantI didn’t put Favors, Cousins, and Johnson in the mix because don’t you think it would be a bit of a reach to pick them #1 overall?

Lotto StudParticipantWell you said “WHO EACH TEAM WOULD PICK” ….. I’m going to go out on a limb and say this if my Nets or the Pacers don’t get the 1st pick Wall may not go # 1 overall because who needs a point besides them 2 teams really ???

weballin.netParticipantAny team drafting at number one will take John Wall and if they think they have a better point, they will trade him because he is highly valuable.

LawDeeZeeParticipantI think Wall or Turner … depending on the team … like someone else said, if the bulls got that pick somehow … they already have D Rose, so they either trade the pick, try to draft Wall and trade him, or take Turner
