turner is more NBA ready skill wise? I dont think you remember how good Blake Griffin is. That guy was handing it to everyone before the got hurt. The rookie of the year is going to be a good race next year

what if tiago splitter comes over next season? hes gotta be in the running. he would start on most tms from the go… I think he’ll have immediate impact, especially if SA trades his rights….

2010 draft is weak… I mean other than all the Point Guards.. who else is an excellent or soon to be an excellent player? Don’t say Blake Griffin because we are still unsure.. Many big men have dominated college ball and were nobodies in the NBA… Emeka Okafor, Greg Oden, Eddy Curry, Michael Olowakandi… The list goes on and on..

Blake Griffin should win if healthy.

1. Okafor has been just fine. A solid 13 and 10 with good defense center.

2. Oden has played two years, and been hurt most of his career. He’s been very good when he’s played.

3. Eddy Curry didn’t go to college.

4. Michael Olowokandi went to Pacific, and many people expected him to be an overvalued bust because he never played anyone his size.

Okafor was suppose to be the Anti-Dwight when they both came out.. He’s a 13-10 guy and he’s not consistent.

I got 2 more points..

1: I don’t think Blake will be a complete BUST, I just don’t see him as a 25-11 guy for his career as most do. Maybe just a 14-8 guy. Personal opinion, you don’t have to agree with me.

2: The conference you play at in college doesn’t matter.. Prime example: Derrick Rose. C-USA

Kwame Brown, Tyson Chandler and Darko Milicic never went to college.

Wilcox hardly dominated. He was the fourth best player on his team.

Araujo and Williams were both seen as horrible picks the whole time.

Bogut’s been an all-star caliber player this year.

Nick Collison has been about what I think most people thought he would be.

Gooden is a good example. But there’s no correlation between position and whether a player will bust. That’s my point.

Another college phenom.. Michael Beasley.. He was suppose to be the next Amar’e Stoudemire.. Now he’s young and has a LOOOT of time to grow but he’s averaging 16pts and 7rpg?

I’m just not buying the superstar Blake Griffin hype.. He’s going to be a good defensive player and a 14-8 guy for his career but not the guy people expect him.. Reminds me alot of Kenyon Martin.. Not Karl Malone

A lot of 21 year olds wish they were averaging 16 points and 7 rebounds per game.

i think it’s Mr.Blake,
he was too dominant in college summer league and even his preseason was huge..now after another year playing next to NBA talents will help him alot, he could be huge from day 1.
