i can understand some times with favors lackof moves and how he turns that thing over. but other times i wonder what the hell are they thinking… i think cincy might be on par with them.. they come down and jack that thing up

They match up well with Maryland on paper, but I thought Maryland would get in them after watching them go back and forth with a garbage UNC team. But this goes to show you, it’s all about matchups

Could Duke have an easier path to the ACC crown?  I mean Cmon…lol. I hate Duke.  All they had/have to do is beat 9th seed Virginia, 12th seed Miami & now probably 7th seed Georgia Tech or 3rd seed FSU.

Vazquez has finally woken up…

GA Tech is letting Maryland speed the flow of the game up, they need to dictate the pace like they did in the 1st half..They aren’t going to shoot that well again more than likely, so the way they dictate pace will be important.

Eric Hayes could have the least amount of quickness I’ve seen out of any guard at this level of basketball lol.

lol…yet he still can score..its weird huh…vasquez is the slowest less athletic great guard in college basketball.. thats why i like our players..what we dont have in speed we make up in the most important area…skills

yea..but he just wont shoot it….for some reason..the guy can get 14ppg if he shot more…i guess its because we dont need him to… im so happy favors ghas no post moves.. makes it easy to strip him….not sure why the guards be fouling him though…he has one move..catch dribble and turn towards his man and shoot. no reverse pivoit or up and under or spin or tunr face and jab step

And the least quick and athletic great guards, I think Vazquez beats Jon Scheyer and Jacob Pullen. He’s a better athlete than both of them lol

Shumpert made that play. He matches up very well with Vazquez. Both are tall PG’s, but Shumpert has a quickness and length advantage that helped on D.

yeah ..in one game…pretty much many people can match up well on someone for one game. sadley this happened to be the game…gt had a smart gameplan to press vasquez full court on someplays and send 2 at him and have the other guards help shumpert out on defense…thats what you do against great players
