Evan Turner is clutch!!

EVAN TURNER IS BEAST!!!!!

That was a great game, 2nd half especially. Though, Michigan played terrible defense. I have to give credit to Manny Harris, this game shouldn’t discount his performance. I think he has the potential to be a solid SG in the NBA, but he needs to stay his senior year and develop his 3 point shot.

He said,” why r they not guarding the inbounds guy”?
Wow Turner just comely just dribbled down the court and hit that 35 foot shoot to win it.
Kid is a problem!

Johnny Kilroy, please don’t listen to that less than bright color commentator on TV. Why would you guard the guy taking the ball in when you’re biggest concern is a length of the court pass? You want all 5 of your guys back on defense to protect against the aforementioned pass with only 2 seconds remaining.

The other thing I’m telling my guys when I’m up by 2 points with only two seconds remaining in the game, “NO FOULS!” The last thing you want to do is commit a stupid foul as the clock is winding down. The only thing different Michigan should have done is put token pressure on Turner when he received the ball, which would have forced him to use more time.

But come on guys, stop criticizing the defense. I will give the opponent a 35 foot jump shot every day of the week. This was one of those very rare times when Turner made an incredible shot that I would give up every time.

The guy guarding Turner did the right thing, he didn’t come close to committing a stupid foul 35 feet from the basket. Could you imagine the uproar if Turner missed that shot but the defender fouled him in the act of shooting?

Let’s give Evan Turner all of the credit and stop blaming the Michigan defense.
