knicksfan7ParticipantIf anyone saw the guy dropped 42 points in the Big Sky Championship game to give his team a berth in the big dance. He’s a JUCO transfer to Montana and played very well in his 2 years at Montana shooting over 50% both years there, over 80% at the line, and shot 46% from 3 (97 attempts, so he averaged about 3 a game, not bad). I know he played in a weak conference, but I won’t be surprised if he makes a team’s training camp. Thoughts??

j1232eParticipantThese games in Ogden, Utah last night. He by far the most talented player on the court, he put on a real show last night. I would think he get an invite to a summer league. If he has a remarkable game in the tourney maybe some teams will consider him a late secound round pick. (He has that much potential.) The game looked easy and fun for him! Granted it was the Big Sky, but they were on the road against the favored weber state wildcats in their own home.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantIf he puts up another monster effort next week, he will probably figure to get an invitation to Portsmouth (if he doesn’t have one already). A good showing there certainly gives him a decent shot of getting drafted, and a pretty good shot at catching on with a summer league team interested in giving him a long look. He would still a long shot who probably won’t get much of a chance to stick, and it is entirely possible if not probable that when he gets a look next week or in Portsmouth he’ll disappoint, but there have been more than a few guys who have used March to build a non-existent draft stock in previous years.
