adamsc14ParticipantOf course he’s a 6 foot 4 athletic point guard but I can’t really name anybody that can dunk with both hands like him. I have seen him dunk on people multiple times with his right and left hand.

Johnny KilroyParticipantso wouldn’t you say he would be a special point guard. If your a SPECIAL player, you better be an elite player at your position. Not unless your saying he’s going to a freak athlete!
Also Wall is not 6-4 and I think he’s more around 6-2!

QUINCEYyou do know there are many players that can do that right, not to take away from wall. my nephew can dunk between the legs with either hand but i dont think thats why hes gonna be a good player

QUINCEYas far as his height we will see. but it doesnt matter if he has long arms. just like rondo islike 6’5 as far as his arms gowhich is much better then someone 6’4 with shorter arms

IndianaBasketballParticipantIt’ll be interesting to see how he measures lol. I think he’ll measure a little shorter than listed height wise, but his wingspan and standing reach should stand out among point guards.

IndianaBasketballParticipantDoesn’t Rondo have a 6′ 11″ wingspan? I wouldn’t be surprised if John Wall is somewhere in that territory. His standing reach should be very long too. I seriously think whether or not he measures 6′ 4″ will be irrellivant.

. He knows when he should take over a a game.
. He’s already a good clutch player.
. He’s an athletic freak who can dunk with both hands. he is really fast and can change directions fast also.
. Already a good passer.
. A good defender mainly beacuse his athleticism
. He can get to the free throw line
He needs to become a better shooter and better slasher in the halfcourt. Also he needs to stop turning the ball over and mabe learn how to post up smaller point guards

He would have been a good nba star not superstar, but we will never know. I really did see a half way new aged magic in the guy specially in that play off series versus the mavericks. That was his best time0

SlimParticipantShaun Livingston was 6’7.5 but he was 10 pounds lighter than 6’2 Derrick Rose
added weight would have helped him post up more, absorb contact better, and have a more solid base on his jump shot
he could have been a new age Magic but Magic was 220 for the majority of his career and 200 as a rookie
all of Livingston’s weaknesses stemmed from his weight
on another note, standing reach and wingspan can be tremendous if combined with quickness and speed 😉
If John Wall ever becomes “special” it’ll be bcuz he has a group of good players around him
he could easily end up on a terrible team and head right back to the lottery
Assuming “special” means winning in the NBA lets wait and see if he can take over a game like Wade, Arenas, Lebron etc
I doubt it

QUINCEYi wouldnt consider wall very tall for a point guard. westbrook,rose,rondo,dwill,farmar are all 6’2 or taller

And Shaun Livingston was well on his way to taking that next step to being a solid starter. And then that following season, IF he hadn’t messed up his knee, I feel he could’ve been a borderline All-Star. He was coming of age that season he was hurt. I am still convinced had he not messed up his knee, he would’ve been a top 5-7 PG in the NBA. Talk about unbelievable passing and PG skills? He had all of that, just not the best shooter and usually the weakest player on the floor (even that was kinda alleviated by his length and height).
