valentineGreivis Vasquez, Maryland -ACC PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Jon Scheyer, Duke
Malcolm Delaney, Virginia Tech
Trevor Booker, Clemson
Kyle Singler, Dukethis gives vasquez a almost certin bid for the first round. i dont think any player that has won player of the year has even not been a first round pick.

DanEboyParticipantChris Carrawell, I don’t think he was a 1st rounder.

Adi JosephCarrawell is the only recent example, but that’s not to say there aren’t others. Rodney Monroe from N.C. State in the early 1990s comes to mind. And while for the most part, you’re right, I don’t think this guarantees anything. There’s no link between the two, just a correlation based on past history.

QUINCEYwhich is why i said almost certin.meaning there is a chance that it might not happen. the good thing is that even before the award he was thought by many to be a first round pick. i think he will get it and its a testament to his hard work because before the season most people just talked about him being second round tobeing undrafted. many on here wenttowards late irst to undrafted
