    This is random and because Im board.. But, I noticed a striking similarity to the Suns when compared to the Mavs. Old PGs, dominate forwards, good role players all around.

    Soo, lets combine those teams and pick 5 starters, 1 at each position, 3 bench, 1 guard, 1 forward, and one center..

    Lets go…

    PG: Steve Nash or Jason Kidd
    SG: Caron Butler or Jason Richardson
    SF: Shawn Marion or Grant Hill
    PF: Dirk or Amare
    C: Robin Lopez or Brenden Haywood

    G: Jet Terry or Gordan Gragic
    F: Edwardo Najahara or Louis Amundson
    C: Eric Dampier or Channing Frye

    Pick your lineup to make a run at this year.. Say we go back and start over, now that you now how they are going to play. It is a one year thing. Not trying to build a franchise for a few years

    My lineup would be:

    PG: Steve Nash – Cant really go wrong here but I want my PG to be able to knock down an open 3.
    SG: Caron Butler – I think JRich should come off the bench for the Suns anyway..
    SF: Shawn Marion – History with Nash but this was a tough choice because Grant his a PG/SF and that is valuable.
    PF: Amare – Dirk is great but I want my PF to punish people on the inside and also hit the 15-17 footer.
    C: Brenden Haywood – IMO, smarter and tougher than Robin.

    G: Gordan Gragic – Nash cant play the whole game and Jet isnt a PG. Gragic can be a SG and PG.
    F: Louis Amundson – Love this guys toughness and he never complains about anything. Great defender.
    C: Eric Dampier – You can never have enough help defenders when Nash is guarding guys like Rose and Paul.
