Are any of you guys watching this game? It’s pretty solid, Clemente and Taylor are argueably the two fastest players in the country and they are guarding each other, Wally Judge is reminding everyone just why he was one of the top prospects coming in this season, Pullen is knocking down 3’s 5 feet behind the line and Xavier Henry is putting on a show in the first half all tied up with the fact that its KU’s senior night and neither team is very fond of the other. A lot of good prospects and a lot of college basketball drama going on in this one.

Cole Aldrich just missed a free throw, Pullen got the rebound and pushed the coast to coast move, Cole ran the break and swatted his layup with authority, for those who doubt Aldrich’s ability to run the floor, that was more than impressive.

I can’t believe K-State. But hey, Kansas was at Allen Fieldhouse where they never lose at, and the last time these two matched up, Xavier Henry was in a horrible shooting slump. Now he’s shooting well, and is just one more factor that K-State couldn’t handle.

    Kansas:

Jacob Pullen shot very well this game, but I don’t consider him a prospect because he’s a poor athlete and ball-handler for NBA standards, very limiting. He defends very well though, an underrated part of his game and he did a decent job this game for the most part.

Denis Clemente took the terrible shots he always does and made the terrible decisions to gamble for steals he always does. He also was a tough cover with his speed and shooting touch.

Luis Colon is horrible. The worst player in the history of worst players.

Well, OK. Chris Merriewether may just have him.

Jamar Samuels played poorly compared to how he usually plays. He’s too foul prone for me sometimes and he takes some bad shots, whixh he did this game

Martavious Irving has to get better offensively. He defends well on the ball, but he falls asleep off it at times and is a liability offensively.

Wally Judge plays his best against KU, but he’s too unpolished to play well against other teams. It’s weird. He’s got a low basketball IQ, and it shows on both ends. Especially on D.

Curtis Kelly let KU’s arena get to him. He loses composure too easily at times.

    Kansas:

Xavier Henry got off to a hot start, and was pretty much cash the whole game shooting the ball. He continued to defend well as well.

Sherron Collins makes some crazily out of control drives to the hoop, but he also can make important shots. He didn’t shoot well, but he make the important shots.

Tyshawn Taylor played very aggressive and looked very fast and explosive this game. He fouled out of the game, but he got after it on D.

Cole Aldrich didn’t impress me that much, other than blocking shots.

The Morris twins did good. Marcus, the good twin, actually took the back seat to Markieff, usually the worse of the 2.
