i honestly don’t think he would go top 5 if that draft was done over. I would take rose, westbrook, lopez, love, mayo, and gordon all ahead of him.

Wow people are very critical of Micahael Beasley here. Lets not forget this guy cant even legally drink yet. He is in his second year in the NBA and he’s averaging about 16 ppg and 7 rpg…I know there are alot of teams that would take that kind of production. Thats pretty solid numbers for a 2nd year player. He would not get out of the top 10 in a redraft situation…people are just being irrational.

Is the guy a dominant force? No. Does he have alot to work on still? Sure, what 2nd year player doesnt. Can he develop into a really good player? He sure can, hes got alot of talent.

Everybody knew he was a headcase in college so the work ethic cant suprise people, but he will improve still.

He shoots to much from the perimeter. If he gets a better post up game and drives every once in awhile, he will be ateast a 20-22ppg and 8rpg guy. He is a lethal midrange shooter and can extend to 3(which will get better the longer he plays). Yes, he has been semi disappointing and yes you can make a case he could fall out of the top 5 if that draft was redone. But the guy is 20 years old in his second year gettin 16 and 7. He does seem like he doesnt try at times too. But just watching him play even at the NBA level, when you see him make a move or pull up for the 18 footer you just say to yourself this guy is special. In terms of raw NBA ability he is just as good as almost anyone. He just needs time to put it together(again this is if HE wants too, if he works hard he is the second best player in that draft, IMO).

he will be top 5 PF in 2015..remember me after five year lol
