man he is going crazy! yes he is like J.R.Smith .. one day he could a star and other he looks bad..but this time it looks like something different..
after all those trades not Howard not Foye but Andre is becoming to be their go-to guy..4 games he avg 25ppg 10.3rpg 2.3apg 1.3spg 1.5bpg he is like Bosh or Amare with his scoring and some huge rebounding games plus he is good in all 5 categories..and the most interesting fact is that wizards won 3 of those 4 games!
and he is playing his 5th season but he is just 23yrs old! I see huge upside in him!

thats just the impression I’ve got. It remains to be seen what will become of him. He has potential, but a ways to go IMO. I dont think he is an efficient or a good team player right now.

Blatche can honestly do it all at this stage in his career…. except play one on one post defense. Then again, not too many skinny 23 year olds can or ever have.

Was watching Blatche for two of those 4 games since the trades. The man is a beast. Even with Bargnani, a legit quick 7 footer guarding him Baseline left on a few occasions. Bargnani was in his grill on every shot, Blatche swished like 3 post-up fadeaways and did a great up and under in traffic like it’s nothing.

To be fair though, looks like he isn’t trying his hardest at all times when he’s not getting his touches on offense

The man doesn’t even sprint down the court in transition leaving a 5 on 4 on a few occasions against Denver and Toronto when the opposing guards pushed the tempo. Really shows something about his character.

I wouldn’t project him as a Bosh yet because he hasn’t shown much effort on defense. Even Amare… Blatche has skinny girl-shoulders, don’t think he’ll ever be as physically intimidating.

He’s an offensively gifted player, but he’s soft, selfish, and a poor one on one defender. That’s what I see in him. He’s a borderline All-Star type talent, but he’s going to be one of those guys whose not a winning player when he gets his stats.

Damn I remember when I first saw this kid in High School, I look at him and said, this skinny lanky kid looks mad clumsy, at the time he was a 10th grader. Next thing you know it, that year, he gets picked up from the JV team once their season ended and joins the Varsity team. He helps the team win sectionals along with state that year. I did not think he would be this good back then until I saw him play on NBA TV during the mini camps and was like, damn this boy got some handles. That’s when I became a believer when I saw his handles. In high school he was just too big for everyone he didn’t even have to jump get get the boards. I remember see him going up against Greg Paulus from Duke he was grabbing boards with ease.

You from syracuse? because I remember seeing him his senior year in HS at henninger, and i just remember thinking to myself that im sure hed get drafted and get his payday and that would be the end of him, especially after he got shot in his rookie season and then got caught trying to pick up a hooker, but even for the last couple seasons hes been turning into a pretty nice player and now this year with all the stars gone from a bad wizards team hes really excelling. Do I think hell be an all star? possibly, maybe he’ll make 1 or 2 but i highly doubt he’ll be a perennial all star.

Blatche has had 4 good games…lets not get carried away.

I do agree that he has a solid offensive game with a good mid range jumper and solid moves in the post. But he is soft, does he pass well? Does he get offensive rebounds? Does he play defense? Does he try?

Thats alot of questions for a guy with alot of upside. I think he could be a decent role player who provides some offense off the bench, but he’s not an All Star

The JR Smith comparison was great, though I think Blatche because of his size will be a starter. Though, unless he shapes his attitude he will be a lot like Stephon Marbury in a sense padding his numbers while playing on 30 win teams. He has been playing very well, and has helped his team to some impressive wins, if his attitude shapes up he has all the potential to be a franchise player. His talent is there with the best of them, but his attitude is extremely poor.

he is very talented and i like his game but im not gonna say he can be a star just yet because o the roster they have now.when you lose your top 4 players then someone has to score the ball. but im not gonna rule out his potential

I went to Henninger and had multiple chances at watching him and was very impressed with his game, granted it was against lesser opponents, but he can play. He should have went to college for a year and that would have helped him alot. But if he can keep doing what he was he will be very good!
