Looks like D’antoni has officially given up on Duhon playing Toney Douglas ahead of him.

lol..im watching the rest of the second half right now (tvo) sergio seems to be the same player hes always been. got some steals though im noticing but he still cant shoot cant score and so far as 1assit as the starting pg. i stand by my claim that he will be the worst starting pg in the east and probably the whole nba

    I called it…

My fellow, yet delirious Knick fans were talking about playoffs….
We have no inside presence, we have 1 bigman on the entire roster, and hes super undersized.
David Lee is the only one on the team that can grab a rebound…no1 else had more than 5
We lost this game on the boards…and unless a magical roster change happens, were pretty much gonna lose alot more games on the boards for the rest of the season

I put John Salmons on the trading block and guess who the Knicks offered… yes that’s right David Lee… I took it and lo and behold… Knicks got a low rating overall… LOL

It’s hard to imagine the score… It feels like it’s just the end of the 3rd quarter but it’s actually the final score…

Sergio didn’t have a great game, but I saw some decent things out of him. Like the way he picked Brandon Jennings’ pocket and didn’t back down against him. Or the eight steals he got due to stripping guys and getting his hands on loose balls. He can’t shoot, but he pushes the ball, penetrates, plays hard and he hustles.

He’s definitely not the answer as a starter, but maybe he can be a decent backup.

I wouldn’t rip Knicks too soon, of course their awful no big men besides Lee at all.
Only the Jazz are getting a top pick doubtful the Knicks pick the next 2 years is in the lottery.
Also the Rockets are capped out in 2010-11 anyway, if Yao isn’t healthy their screwed for another year.
Man Jennings has really fallen off every month his fg% has gone down, this draft was very overrated so far.

Even though I really want the Knicks to lose, I feel bad for the Knicks fans…

    They had so much hope.

I may cry for them this offseason…

You might be right Quincey..then again you might be wrong. I at least gotta give him some time to practice with the team and get comfortable in the system before I put any kind of label on him.

Sergio made some nice passes but when those passes go to Al Harrington your most likely not gonna end up with the assist, Harrington is where beautiful passes go to die. He did have 8 steals though which is 1 off a Knick record.
And dont feel bad for us Knick fans..I mean the Knicks have sucked for the past 9 years, so this is nothing new. BUT the Knicks will finally have some cap space…to sign…someone.

Sergio isnt a bona fide starter but he is better than his offensive stats showed that game. He has very little repor with his new teammates and it takes time to gel. That being said, Sergio dished some phenomenal passes that should have been easy buckets but the Knicks couldnt sink anything. I still maintain that Sergio is better than Duhon.

I still believe Sergio will have a good 28 games.

He had very good numbers in his 2nd game with a new team. I do expect him to be resigned.

he wont ever be a starting caliber pg but he could be a decent back up. hes always been a back up and i dont see it changeing. and eddie house didnt need time to gel nor mcgrady and he’s been out for a year , because they are pretty good players. players like that dont need alot of time to get it going

how exactly is it hating when i say hes a second string when his whole career he’s been a second string?. is it hating when guess say duhon sucks?..no one seems to say people are hating when they say that and yet thats not worst then saying hes a second string why?..because you hope he’s gonna be a starter?..at least make a good arguement if you are gonna say someone is hating.dont just say they are hating because you dont agree with them. ive said farmar is a back up yet no one say im hating but since its someone you like or think is better then they are then that must be hating even though hes never been a starter. youre making no sense

hes the future pg IF he gets alot better then he has been. im pretty sure everypg for any other team would start over him right now and a coupel of back ups for other teams. and i havnt heard the knicks say once that hes the pg of the future for them. as a matter of fact even knicks fans on here who like him say hes a back up..i guess they are also hating.. some on here in this post even say hes a back up. they also must be hating

now if i said.. man this guy sucks and shouldnt even be in the nba.. that would be hating. if i say ,kobe is a super star that can score and hes scoring and is a super star ,wouldnt that be correct?…so if i say a guy (who all his career, as been second and third string) is a back up how exactly is that hating?
