IndianaBasketballParticipantT-Mac used to be one of my favorite players and I’m excited to see his debut with the Knicks tonight. Reports are that he’ll start. He says he’s close to being 100% and he’s much more explosive than he was the last couple of years with the Rockets.
Let’s play a little over or under for T-Mac’s performance during tonight’s game.
He’ll play 30 minutes…
He’ll score 15 points…
He’ll grab 7 rebounds…
He’ll pass for 5 assists…
He’ll have 3 turnovers…
He’ll have 2 steals…
He’ll block 2 shots…0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 2:36pm #258690

llperezi hope as a fan of basketball that tmac can return to what he was doing a few years ago. A prime TMac would be right in the discussion with Kobe, lebron wade and melo.

quinceyhodgesi agree perez. ill be rooting for him
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 2:48pm #258700

MagikKnickParticipantYup, I think people forget how good McGrady really was..if he never got injured he would’ve been a top 5 player right now
But for these last 29 games, I wouldnt set the expectation bar too high, but who knows…he can pull a Jamison and go 0-12 or he can explode for 30…..you dont really know how ready he really is…just gotta wait & see
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 2:49pm #258701
quinceyhodgeswell said. im actually suprised more knicks fans arent saying how good he is gonna be
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 2:50pm #258702

IndianaBasketballParticipantIt sounded good hearing his name announced in the starting lineup lol. I know it’s not likely, but I hope he busts out his first game lol.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 2:55pm #258703
knicksfan7ParticipantI don’t think a Knicks game has got this much notice in the History of NBAdraft.net message boards, lol
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 2:56pm #258704

IndianaBasketballParticipantOne thing is clear… T-Mac can still pass the rock.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 2:57pm #258705
knicksfan7ParticipantCount it and the Foul.

quinceyhodgeslol..youre right about that knicksfan. people are probably switching between uk vs vandy and the knicks game
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 3:03pm #258707

MagikKnickParticipant5 pts, 2 ast before hitting the bench…not bad
House can shoooooot
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 3:06pm #258711

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantMac with the attack? Man, as NY fan…I’m really hype
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 3:15pm #258718
knicksfan7ParticipantT-Mac is starting to look comfortable on the court.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 3:16pm #258720

IndianaBasketballParticipantYou can see he still has the skill, ball handling and passing ability. Once he gets his legs under him and his endurance up to par, he should be pretty good.
McGrady is balling right now lol.

thaprodigyParticipantWhen do they play the Rockets?
0- Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 3:36pm #258731
knicksfan7ParticipantI think March 21st, but the game is in NY. They already played @Houston.
0
- Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 3:37pm #258732

MagikKnickParticipantRandom Irrelevant Thoughts:
Tracy McGrady looks just like Will Smith in Hitch
Daniel Orton looks like an obese Russel Westbrook
Oh & Yeah, T-Mac is definetly ballin, lol
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 3:40pm #258737

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantMan, As a Knick fan…they’re playing defense, there scoring efficiently…man I’m really hyped for these last 30 games
Also, if McGrady plays like this for the next 30…he might be in NY next season.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 3:40pm #258734

IndianaBasketballParticipant^^^That’s HILARIOUS^^^
Ha ha… So true though. That’s crazy.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 3:41pm #258738

IndianaBasketballParticipantHe said he’d take a pay cut to remain with the Knicks next season too
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 3:46pm #258742
knicksfan7ParticipantThe Knicks sucked the first 53 games, but I am excited for the final 29 games no matter what they outcomes. This is a breath of fresh air.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 3:47pm #258743

butidonthavemoneyKnicks must lose!!!!!!
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 3:47pm #258744

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantYea, but how much of a pay-cut.
He’s slick by saying that because a pay-cut is what? 10 mil a season? The man makes 21 million now…
I would love T-mac for like 5yrs/35mil
0- Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 3:49pm #258747
knicksfan7ParticipantT-Mac is by no means worth $7 million a year for what he does in 29 games. 29 games is not worth a 5 year deal either. I would give him 2 years guaranteed with a 3rd year as a team option for $12milion.
0
- Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 3:48pm #258746

MagikKnickParticipantOnly if we knew how to box-out…
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 3:50pm #258748

IndianaBasketballParticipantT-Mac knows he can’t ask for $10 million at this stage of his career…
T-Mac is going to work! Is it just me or does he look taller than 6′ 8″?
19 points and 3 assists in the first half!
0- Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 3:54pm #258754

knicks82ParticipantT-Mac 7-12 from the field in the 1sr half is alot more than I expected from him! I like what he said at the healf about how they need to get back in transition, cause OKC killed them in the transition game.
0
- Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 3:52pm #258752

IndianaBasketballParticipantThat sounds about right… A three year deal for about $7-10 million with a team option on the third year.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 3:55pm #258755

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantA 3 year deal for 10 million? That’s about…3.2 mil a season my man. McGrady won’t resign.
I would love NY to keep McGrady nevertheless
We need another rebounder, I do see we need that.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 3:59pm #258758
quinceyhodgesyeah 3 year 10million makes zero sense.. it would be a slap in the face. he wont get 10 million but he will get a nice amount of money. someone was right when they say people forgot tmac was good before the injury. hell while he was injuried and playing he was good and if he shows he is healthy he will get paid. and he’s only 30 years old
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:01pm #258760

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantI wonder what he will look like when he actually get his feel for the game back. He looks a little stiff even though he’s playing well.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:01pm #258761

IndianaBasketballParticipant“I’m a guy who has made a lot of money in my career,” Tracy McGrady said. “I could retire right now. . . . Money is not an issue. [If] these guys want to bring in a LeBron [James] and D-Wade [Dwyane Wade], along with a Chris Bosh, or an Amar’e Stoudemire, I would be a damn fool to not want to stay here. “Don’t get me wrong, if I come back healthy and playing well, we’re going to do some negotiating,” he added. “What I’m saying is, if LeBron comes, D-Wade comes and you pair [one of them] up with Stoudemire or Chris Bosh, I know I’m not going to get the big bucks. “But save a little for me, is all I’m saying.”
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:05pm #258765

thaprodigyParticipantMcGrady has already said he does not care about money and that he has enough money to retire right now so I doubt we’ll have a Latrell Sprewell situation, he also said if they got a big name free agent he’d be a damn fool not accept a paycut so…
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:05pm #258766

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantDon’t get me wrong, if I come back healthy and playing well, we’re going to do some negotiating
He’s playing well….looks like he might negotiate.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:07pm #258769
NYKnumba3Participanti think hes worth about 5 to 7 mill a year
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:08pm #258770

thaprodigyParticipantDidn’t see the post right above me I think I need my glasses
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:09pm #258771

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantI looked at the standings….The Knicks are not super far off for that 8th seed! lol
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:09pm #258773
quinceyhodgesyeah i dont see a latrell sprewell situation but im sure he will want a realistic about and not a leauge min for a 10 year vet or something..lol man if i would take the time and post how many players have said one thing then changed there mind at the end of the season i could fill 5 pages
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:10pm #258774

IndianaBasketballParticipantOn an ordinary team, I don’t think he’d take that kind of paycut… However, playing with two max deal free-agents won’t be a regular team lol. I believe he’d take that paycut to play with two other superstars and play in MSG… And he understands that.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:10pm #258775

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantAlso, Knicks fans…I’m glad your here
We might be able to get something for D-Lee and still get 2 max FA’s!

0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:12pm #258776
quinceyhodgesi will go on record and say he will not take that big of a pay cut. who ever said 5-7 thats very realistic
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:12pm #258778

MagikKnickParticipantCount It And Foulx3
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:13pm #258779

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantWilson Chandler is one of those really underrated players in the NBA.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:17pm #258785
quinceyhodgeswow sergio looks like a different player with the knicks dont he?
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:18pm #258786

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantOnly played one game my man….
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:19pm #258789

IndianaBasketballParticipantIt’s just his first game… You just don’t cease the negativity…
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:20pm #258790
quinceyhodgesmatter of fact how many players have played as bad as he has for 2 different teams and then gone to there third team annd played pretty well? and its one game plus the last 3 and a half seasons he has played
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:22pm #258794

butidonthavemoneyI bet Sergio Rodriguez would be an all-star if he had a freak athlete like Derrick Favors to play with.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:23pm #258795

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantYou being a Billups fan- I would think you would know sometimes a player needs to be moved sometimes until he finds the right fit…
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sergio_Rodriguez
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:25pm #258799
quinceyhodgesfor one..hes not billups. billups showed how good he was in a three year time. youre just hoping he can become billups because youre a fan but youtre not looking at it realistically youre looking at it from a fan’s point of view. in reality sergio right now is a back up
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:25pm #258801

JNixonParticipantLet’s take it one game at a time man, he’s a PG. His adjustment is going to be a bit longer than any other position on the floor. Rodriguez isn’t the 2nd coming, matter of fact I don’t think he’s going to put up much better stats than Duhon, but I do think he can provide solid assists numbers. Maybe like 7 per game. It’s his 1st game. If your expecting 20 pts and10 assist in someone’s 1st game you’ll be disappointed every time. Let’s not critique a guy on his performance with a new team.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:27pm #258802

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantI never said he was Billups.
I said, give him time in D’Antoni’s uptempo system where he can run, I think he can play well. If he comes back next season and becomes the starter, his numbers would improve.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:29pm #258804

OldSkoolBasketballParticipantI usually don’t care about the Knicks but now that McGrady is back, I’m interested.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:30pm #258805
quinceyhodgesyeah i dont expect those numbers in his 20th game..lol..i see him getting around his same numbers. 6-7pts 3-4 ast. thats not bad for a back up pg. duhon will still get minutes no matter how much knick fans dont like him and house will cut into both of there minutes
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:31pm #258807

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantHe shot that 3 for you Quincey! LOL
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:32pm #258810
knicksfan7ParticipantIt has been mentioned that McGrady has stated he would take a pay cut if the Knicks landed the marquee free agents in Free Agency, but this may sound ridiculous how well do you think McGrady would respond coming off the bench??
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:32pm #258809

IndianaBasketballParticipantSergio actually doesn’t look bad out there… He’s a very good ball handler and passer… He plays with energy and passion for the game too. I can see him becoming a fan favorite.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:33pm #258811

butidonthavemoneyDon’t make me laugh.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:34pm #258812

OldSkoolBasketballParticipantHe just wants to play. T-Mac is not Iverson.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:34pm #258813

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantNY needs to get my boy Bill Walker in the game
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:35pm #258816

IndianaBasketballParticipantDepending on who the Knicks sign, yes I can see him being okay with coming off the bench. I really feel that at this stage in his career and going through what he’s been through… He just wants to play and win.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:36pm #258817

JNixonParticipantBill Walker. The pride and joy of the Kansas State Wildcats! lol
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:36pm #258818

MagikKnickParticipantLets be real..
Quincey is right in the sense that he is a backup…Nash/J.Williams(SAC) comparison needs to cool down..
However…i dont see Duhon as a better player than him, in this game alone Rodriguez has drove the basket and kicked it out to the open player more times than Duhon has all season..
Rod: 4pts, 3 ast, 15 minutes
Duhon: 0pts, 2ast, 20 minutes..I think before the season is over, he’ll trump Duhon for the starting spot….but hes not going to be anything more than a backup further down the line..
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:38pm #258821
knicksfan7ParticipantI am happy with T-Mac’s performance, but it’s only one game. I want to see how he does as the games go on will he get his game back or wear down. Also, I want to see how free agency plays out stuff is so far ahead with so many questions it is so hard to make predictions.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:41pm #258822

IndianaBasketballParticipantSergio making some great passes out there and he’s an aggressive penetrator…
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:42pm #258823

LeroyJenkinsParticipantHis ceiling is a young j-will at best…i just hope we will see spanish chocolate at the rucker this summer
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:42pm #258824

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantHey Guess What
Looks who playing in the 4TH Q at PG…Serge.
His 1st game…he’s running point in the 4th? D’Antoni and Walsh are interested in this guy. I think he returns next season
Now- Bring on Bill Walker
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:53pm #258827

butidonthavemoneyAnybody notice that Russell Westbrook is a terrible decision-maker?
He’s a great player and all, but right now he is NOT playing smart at all.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:55pm #258828

IndianaBasketballParticipantIt’s good to see someone else finally notice… That’s what I’ve been saying. He’s an athletic slasher playing point guard.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:55pm #258829
quinceyhodgesand still a back up pg at best. the knicks have 2 back up pg so one is bound to play..lol
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:56pm #258830
quinceyhodgesdont forget the 3turnovers with the 4ast
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:56pm #258831

IndianaBasketballParticipantMan… House can shoot his ass off.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:57pm #258832

butidonthavemoney
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:58pm #258833

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantHe ice cold but I hate that stop shooting move. It kills momentum.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 4:59pm #258834
quinceyhodgesthis happens sooooooo many times.. new guy comes to the knicks( starbury, duhon, hill curry when he came back from injuries) high expectations are place on them, they dont lieve up to them and then the fans say they are horrible. i feel bad for sergio because ny is a very tough place to go and play so i hope he has very hard skin. on a side note sergio as well as duhon need to watch out for house. he will get time at the point alot the rest of the year even though hes not a ture pg
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 5:02pm #258836

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantQuincey, alright man we heard your opinion. You’ve done well.
Anyway- The Knicks are looking good with a bunch of new players on the roster
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 5:05pm #258837

IndianaBasketballParticipantGallinari is playing tough D on Durant.
I forgot how well T-Mac can handle the ball… Neither Duhon or Sergio are on the floor right now. T-Mac is basically running the point.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 5:07pm #258838

butidonthavemoneyI’m going to punch that dumbass Russell Westbrook square in his cytoplasm.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 5:10pm #258839
quinceyhodges^lol…qhaynes if you dont like what i have to say just ignore me..its that easy…anyway the knicks are playing very tough energetic basketball..this has been a nice game to watch. im wondering if every pg will get buckets against them though unless there stable learns to play defense
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 5:11pm #258840
NYKnumba3Participantthats how its ganan be if lbj comes hes going to be the point
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 5:12pm #258841

IndianaBasketballParticipantLol why?
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 5:13pm #258842

butidonthavemoneyI LOOOOVE KEVIN!!!!!!!!!!!
***KISSES KISSES KISSES KISSES KISSES KISSES KISSES KISSES***
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 5:13pm #258843

IndianaBasketballParticipantI’m calling it right now… T-Mac to Gallinari for the game winner.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 5:13pm #258844

MagikKnickParticipantDurant Is COLD.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 5:14pm #258845
knicksfan7Participantbutidonthavethemoney hates westbrook prior to durant’s shot b/c he wants the knicks to lose so the jazz get a higher pick.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 5:14pm #258846

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantI didn’t say I didn’t like what you said…all i said was alright…you done well
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 5:16pm #258848

butidonthavemoneyFor the record, I like the Knicks. Danilo is my second favorite (non-Jazz) NBA player behind DeJuan Blair.
It’s all business.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 5:16pm #258849

IndianaBasketballParticipantThat was terrible execution on that last shot… OKC clearly has the momentum heading into OT
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 5:16pm #258850
quinceyhodgeslol..i forgot about the high draft pick for the jazz. i might have to root for the knicks more since jazz fans be dogging my lakers every time ive been to a jazz laker game….LETS GO KNICKS..LOL
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 5:19pm #258851

IndianaBasketballParticipantWhen is the last time Duhon was in the game???
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 5:22pm #258852
knicksfan7ParticipantHe’s not been in that’s all that’s important. The Knicks are a more competitive less stagnant team when Duhon is on the pine.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 5:22pm #258853

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantI’m calling it: Sergio Rodriguez will start the next game.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 5:24pm #258855

MagikKnickParticipantDuhon hasnt gotten PT since the 3rd…i dont think
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 5:24pm #258856
quinceyhodgeslol..youre right about that hes not important.. its like making the last pick between the last 2 kids for teams during recess

knicksfan7ParticipantCan we just put something in perspective. This thread has got to it’s 3rd page. This game is not an All-Star game, not a playoff game, nor is it the NBA Finals. Don’t get me wrong it’s a great game, but we sure all have a lot to say about this game. Anyone else been thinking that??

butidonthavemoneyIf the Knicks win, they could gain confidence. Then they could win more games. Then the Jazz might get the 10th pick or some crap. That would be tUrrrrrrAble!!!

IndianaBasketballParticipantThis is the most clutch Durant has been this season
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 5:34pm #258872

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantQuincey…I actually agree with you there. He has all the tools. Also, he’s a good rebounder and great defender
I remember people called the Westbrook pick a reach…silly experts

RickyRubio9ParticipantT-Mac Game Winner…I am calling it
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 5:36pm #258875

IndianaBasketballParticipantThey’re down three, so he’ll have to send it in to a 2nd OT.

RickyRubio9ParticipantNvm, Eddie House ties it. (: I’m not watching the game, just getting updated. I think Knicks got the ball

quinceyhodgesexactly..thats why i think he has the highest potential in his class since hes right up there with everyone while only being in year 2 of being a pg. okc should be a force in 2 years if they keep going at the pace that they are going. imma have to keep a eye in the rearview mirror from my lakers car 🙂

knicksfan7ParticipantI am proud to be a Knicks fan. This team played hard. I hope they can continue this for the next 28 games.

MagikKnickParticipantThe Garden needs to be rockin like that all the time…
0- Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 5:44pm #258888
knicksfan7ParticipantIdk where you’re from or how old you’re, but I remember when I was 6, 7, an 8 and it was the days of Patrick Ewing, Allan Houston, Latrell Sprewell, Charlie Ward, Chris Childs, Charles Oakley, Jeff Van Gundy, and Knicks-Heat Rivalry. Those were the days. If the Knicks get back to that form, the Garden will be like that again.

quinceyhodgesit will for awhile unless they dont start winning. this is how it rocked when starbury first got there and when d’antoni coached his first couple of games and when steve francis got there. hopefulyl this time the fans there will continue to rock it every game even when the newness wears off
0- Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 5:48pm #258891
knicksfan7ParticipantIt did rock when Starbury first got there because they made the playoffs, but it wasn’t rocking when Steve Francis got there. It did some when D’antoni came. Though in the mid to late 90s the Garden was the place to be, now it is not.

quinceyhodgesyoure right knicksfan those were the days. i hated the knicks then because i would be rooting for the bulls but those teams were good. if it wasnt for mj i think they would have had at least 2 titles
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 5:53pm #258893
quinceyhodgesi remember clearly it rocking and knick fans getting excited. maybe you werent as excited but many knicks fans i know were. but it only last as long as they are winning
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 5:58pm #258895
knicksfan7ParticipantThe Knicks were selling out every home game for a good 6 year period, now it’s rare they sell out.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 6:21pm #258905

OldSkoolBasketballParticipantKnicks should’ve won.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 6:30pm #258907

MagikKnickParticipantYeah, it would’ve been a great story…
But Durant was clutch & on fire, and T-Mac said in the end he had NO legs…
So once he gets some more stability, and the rest of the guys get more chemistry, i expect us to do well for these last 28 games
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/20/2010 - 6:45pm #258909

OrangeJuiceJonesParticipantT-Mac was playing with a purpose tonight. He showed off that classic pull-up of his, made some great passes and made good decisions overall. When the trade went down, I remember hearing my friends say that he wouldn’t be that good anymore because he wasn’t the same athlete, but T-Mac was an elite athlete in his prime. Therefore, his athleticism went from elite to average, and an average athlete can get to the hoop with enough length, ball-handling ability and savvy, which McGrady has in his arsenal, to say the least. I know it’s his first game back, but I’m still concerned about his knee; it kept him out of action during the end of the 4th and O.T (he was in the game, but all he did was inbound the ball, and I saw him rubbing it on the sideline). My expectations for him for the rest of the year are 15 P.P.G and 4 A.P.G.
Eddie House did what he does best: shoot the ball. It’s a bit nerve-racking to see him shoot off-balance with such a quick release, but it goes in at a regular percentage, and that’s all that matters. He did more dribbling tonight than I’ve seen him do in a while, and he really surprised me with his passes.
Sergio Rodriguez is exactly what an up-tempo team needs at point guard. He’s gonna be a steal if he can keep penetrating and dishing like he did tonight. He made a lot of good passes after collapsing the defense, especially to an open David Lee. I hope he can keep it up. I don’t really like that Duhon guy, and I think that’s a consensus on this site.
