It appears I missed a few key trades and made some bad judgement calls. I apologize, but not for the Knicks, they made a bad trade. They give up way too many draft picks. They will soon find that out, and it will hurt them. New Lineups:
    Mavs Grade B-
    C Haywood
    PF Dirk
    SF Marion
    SG Butler
    PG Kidd

    Wiz. Grade C-
    C Ilgauskas
PF Blatche(don’t know who else to put here)
    SF Thornton
    SG Howard
    PG Foye

    Cavs Grade A
    C Shaq
    PF Jamison
    SF Lebron
    SG Parker
    PG Williams

KIngs Grade B+ (should have fixed PG huge hole, but love Landry)
    C Thompson
    PF Landry
    SF Casspi
    SG Evans
    PG Udrih

Rockets Grade B+ (should not have given Landry but love Martin)
    C Anderson (next year Yao)
    PF Scola
    SF Ariza
    SG Martin
    PG Brooks

Knicks Grade C-(need to fix center hole, and stop giving up draft picks)
    C Lee
    PF Harrington
    SF Gallo
    SGT-Mac
    PG Duhon

Bucks Grade A(although probably could have done better then Salmons)
    C Bogut
    PF K. Thomas
    SF Illyasova
    SG Salmons
    PG Jennings

    Bulls Grade A
    C Noah
    PF Warrick
    SF Deng
    SG Heinrich
    PG Rose

Jazz Grade B- (makes sense b-ball wise, but its sad to such a nice player go. The lineup should be interesting come Friday against the warriors. Here is what I think:)
    C Okur
    PF Booz
    SF Kirilenko
    SG Matthews*(could change)
    PG Williams

Grizz Grade B+(Brewer is nice but should have filled PG hole or C hole)
    C Gasol
    PF Randolph
    SF Gay
    SG Mayo*(could use Brewer)
    PG Conley*(could use Mayo)

Bobcats Grade A (Thomas should flourish is Charlotte)
    C Chandler
    PF Thomas
    SF Wallace
    SG Jackson
    PG Felton

Ok now debate. I feel much better now, that other post was unwise of me, must not have realized the actual trades and I missed a big one with Thomas. Any disagreements on the grades and or lineups.

    Mavs Grade B-
    C Haywood
    PF Dirk
    SF Marion
    SG Butler
    PG Kidd

Wiz. Grade B- (They have a young front court and cap space and still have Arenas who can get you something or maybe you make amends with him because he is resting his knee while suspended could come back close to normal after next year)
    C McGee
PF Blatche(don’t know who else to put here)
    SF Thornton
    SG Howard
    PG Foye

    Cavs Grade A
    C Shaq
    PF Jamison
    SF Lebron
    SG Parker
    PG Williams

KIngs Grade B+ (should have fixed PG huge hole, but love Landry)
    C Thompson
    PF Landry
    SF Casspi
    SG Evans
    PG Udrih

Rockets Grade A+(They did not lose any key players and added a starting shooting guard Martin and Ariza next year with Yao will be crazy mad 3’s all day)
    C Anderson (next year Yao)
    PF Scola
    SF Ariza
    SG Martin
    PG Brooks

Knicks Grade C- and if they get some good free agents this could be A-
    C Lee
    PF Harrington
    SF Gallo
    SGT-Mac
    PG Duhon

Bucks Grade A(Salmon may actually play like he did last year in Chi town and his point guard abilities will take pressure off of Jennings)
    C Bogut
    PF K. Thomas
    SF Illyasova
    SG Salmons
    PG Jennings

Bulls Grade A(They actually picked up player who could replace the ones they left go and save money)
    C Noah
    PF Warrick
    SF Deng
    SG Hinrich
    PG Rose

Jazz Grade B-(Jazz will probably use their top 10 possibly pick and get a shooting guard so this deal was not bad especially with the play of Mathews and CJ Miles)
    C Okur
    PF Booz
    SF Kirilenko
    SG Matthews*(could change)
    PG Williams

Grizz Grade B+(Brewer helps out bench and gives them someone they can depend on and can defend, also Gay can not really hold Grizz hostage now because Brewer is no Gay but he can fit and take the pressure off if Gay leaves and I am sure that next year draft pick and Mayo , Gasol, and Randolph would not mind extra touches)
    C Gasol
    PF Randolph
    SF Gay
    SG Mayo*(could use Brewer)
    PG Conley*(could use Mayo)

Bobcats Grade A (Thomas should flourish is Charlotte and also i hear they got Ratliff which should help them out as well)
    C Chandler
    PF Thomas
    SF Wallace
    SG Jackson
    PG Felton

Blazers Grade A(great Center pick up)
    C Camby
    PF Aldridge
    SF Webster*(could be Batum)
    SG Roy
    PG Miller

Clippers C (need to fix hole at SF, and gooden is not that great of a replacement for the injured Blake Griffen)
    C Kaman
    PF Gooden
    SF Outlaw
    SG Gordon
    PG Davis
Blake comes off the bench for Davis

spencer hawes is the starting center for the kings….this trade really helps out specer hawes and lets him work more in the high post were he is much more effective and also helps his and JT’s finesse style of play and allows him to take defenders face up

clippers should get an A-. they achieved their goal of getting the cap room for a max contract offer. they don’t care who they get for those guys (telfair, thornton) as long as its an expiring contract.

lool.. a A- riiiiiiight. i do agree that the trade really helps sac town and spencer. people under estimate scola by saying trading landry was a bad move. scola and chuck can replace his production

I’m still trying to figure out all these posts talking about how Houston should not have traded Landry. Houston just got to not only switch first rounders, but take another first rounder from a team that may or may not be any good in a few years, while also snatching up the best player in the trade and a recent first rounder that will probably get some playing time at some point for them. You have to give up something to get something. This isn’t the trade machine where you just match up the salaries. They gave up their 6th man for a guy that is going to be starting for them for the next 4 or 5 years. So that probably means Ariza is now your 6th man. They have did pretty well without a guy like Yao and without McGrady this year. I think they will be ok.

Morey got a lot for expendable guys and a guy like McGrady who was probably going to get a buyout if they didn’t trade him. New York probably could have gotten him for a veterans minimum deal. I mean according to the rumors the Rockets got more from McGrady than the Suns were going to get from an established All Star like Amare. New York has to get at least one of the top guys in free agency or that franchise is going to really be sunk in the ground, especially if they get desperate and overpay for guys that aren’t going to be superstars.
